"We just bought our first home together, and decided to get our flooring installed by a local company. I made a list of 11 different businesses to call and asked for quotes, to check on prices and how they were with customer service and follow through. In the end, Pounds got our business, based on price, availability and access to a variety of flooring, as well as excellent customer service and flexibility of their schedule.
Jessica was knowledgeable of the products, friendly and professional. I'm a bit particular and I'm really grateful that she was able to roll with my changing mind and need to have everything go well together. I had a concern regarding the vinyl bullnose at the top of the stairs, and they were able to explain the product and assure me that there would be no problems. When I asked for samples of the rug for the stairs, Jessica ordered them for me through the vendor, and the samples were big enough to get a clear idea of how everything would look, as opposed to another company that gave us small squares of the rug, which made it difficult to make a good decision.
For those of you that shop local, I was very pleased to find out that Pounds is local, family owned, and Rusty was great and interested in us as people as well as customers.
The installers were exceptional and worked quickly and efficiently, making sure that they checked with me if there were any questions or issues regarding the install. They cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job on replacing the trim Their follow through has been great as well, and Jessica has checked in a couple times to make sure that we were happy with the job and if everything looked good. That's good business!
