Pottstown School District Budget
On May 19, 2022, the Pottstown School Board approved a $68.4 million budget for the 2022-2023 school year to educate about 3,300 students. The budget requires no increase in real estate taxes, which followed 0% tax increase the previous year. This year's published budget omits much of the detailed information that budgets previous to 2017-2018 included. We now publish "bare-bones" budgets. A summary can be viewed by clicking here.

Unfortunately, the published annual budget is not sufficiently detailed to enable school board members and citizens to fully assess how funds are spent.
