I've wiped my blog recently because of what's happened. I archived the old posts. If you want them just ask. This is more important.
Usually, my posts are about something I read, or whatever bullshit the authorities in my area got up to. This one is different, and it breaks one of my rules.
My friend recently went missing. He didn't come back home after his last class and was declared missing in the morning. He was a good kid, not like me in the slightest. Academically gifted, talented, he was smart, but he could not make friends. The best kind of person. He wanted to change things, make it a better place for everyone. He wasn't naive, at least I don't think so. It didn't make sense for him to go missing, and instantly, the cops are trying to call him a runaway. Saying he had mental issues, that he wasn't stable. An at-risk youth. Fucking liars.
He's not the only one to go missing. Others in the area have too. I decided to look into it myself, alongside some friends. It's bullshit that the cops are trying to downplay, and call all them runaways. Solve their cases, get their quotas, and not give a shit about us. It's what they're supposed to do, because no one is supposed to look into this shit. It led us to an asylum, and that's when it all happened. We went to the offices to find papers. We were looking for records about a previous patient, supposedly, he had killed the parent of one of the people who went missing. Could've been a coincidence, but I don't believe in those. When we got to the offices, the main office of the head shrink or whatever was completely fucked up. Name was scratched out on all the plaques, tears in the wallpaper like someone with long ass nails had clawed at them. Everything was thrown around, filthy, and it was totally fucked up.
Only one drawer was locked on the desk. We tried to open it by force, but had no luck. No thanks to the meathead who tagged along. While I was working on it, another one of my friends went to another office. I'll call him Shoe or whatever. Shoe walked in, said the office was old but pretty untouched beyond what usually happens over the years of decay. Old computer, not plugged into anything, and some files. He grabbed one, came back over, and then we heard a loud slam. He said he didn't shut the door behind him, but now it was shut. I'm still working on the locked drawer with Angel, so I don't see any of this, but Shoe swears that when he, Meathead, and Punk went into the office, the temperature dropped instantly. They said the computer was on and actively searching for a name. It wasn't plugged into anything, and even if it was, there was no power in the building. Freaked them out, and they left after reading what the search was on the screen. It was the name of the head shrink, and beneath it, the results said she was missing, officially declared, maybe a year after the asylum shut down. They came back out talking about it all, but when Angel and I went over to look, the office was totally normal.
At this point, I'm excited, because paranormal activity first thing? Theres some metallic creaking or whatever, kind of sounded like a door, so I went to go see what it was. We stayed in a group the whole time, and once we got to the stairs to go to the second floor, the door slammed shut behind us, and we couldn't open it. It was one of those pushbar doors, and no matter how hard we pushed, it wouldn't even click. The door stop wasn't down either; the door just wouldn't work. After every room we'd check while going down the hall, the light would shut off. It was leading us, marking everything we checked as we went. The second hallway didn't have a lot of doors, but it had one at the very end. When we started walking, all the lights broke and went out, and our flashlights and lanterns couldn't illuminate the area beyond like 5 feet. We were pretty freaked at this point, but we kept going forward. We'd hear this weird tearing sound at random, not like paper, but like fabric being torn and stretched. I looked at the layouts before coming here, and the hallway felt way longer as we walked compared to what it should've been. I sprayed my tag on the wall to see, and I swear we walked like 10 steps, but it felt like we were only 5 away. It was moving, just so slowly. We got to the door at the end finally, and the lights came back on. Shoe opened the door, and the walls were torn, like scratched at, as if someone was ripping and tearing their nails through it. Like the wallpaper at the Shrink's office. Shoe freaked out and closed the door before I could stop him, and something else in the asylum got pissed. There was another hallway leading to where we were, and one by one, the lights started to just pop and go out. Exploding in fuckin sparks. We opened the door back up, went into the room, and shut the door. Whatever was out there wasn't coming in, and we took a bit to just breathe.
There was a weird metal trap door of sorts beneath the padding. We had only seen a handle at first, so we had to tear more shit to open it. According to the layouts, there never should've been anything like this in the building, but here it was. We went down the ladder, and it was a morgue. We found blood bags and blood on the floor of the shower. I opened the fuckin body slabs, and one of them had a body inside. He had the usual autopsy incisions, but then he had one in his neck. I used my knife to cut open the incision and reached inside, and got a baggie with a key inside. We left after that and made it all the way back to the office. Shoe got really weird, though, when I went for the window at first to get some of them out, instead of going right for the drawer. He freaked out, telling me to get away from it. I'd never really seen him like that before, but I listened, and we just went to the office. We opened the drawer and got a big file with what we were looking for. After that, it seemed safe to leave, and we did.
Stopped at Waffle House on the way home. The shit in the file helped. There's something more going on, I just don't know what. I'm gonna find out though.
