Md. RakiB Mia was born in Palash-1610, Narsingdi, Dhaka, in a small whaling community in Bangladesh. He received the B.Sc. (Engg.) and M.Sc. (Engg.) degrees in Computer Science, from the Faculty of Engineering at Comilla University. Currently he is doing his 2nd Master's in Robotics and Automation at JAMK University of Applied Science, Finland. He played a role as a research assistant (RA) under the supervision of Mahmuda Khatun, where his research focused on machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence.

During his B.Sc. studies, he ranked second in his class and was awarded a prestigious national scholarship, the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship. His research interests lie in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), deep learning, human-computer interaction (HCI), and data science. He is particularly fascinated by the potential of these fields to revolutionize various domains, from healthcare and finance to education and entertainment. In his research, he aims to explore novel algorithms and methodologies to address real-world challenges and enhance user experiences.

He has a strong academic foundation and research experience. He has published research papers in relevant fields like IEEE and Spring Nature, with additional UGC-funded projects underway. He was also actively involved in developing web-based and machine learning-based university projects.
