At first, I thought of a badge system to add a collectible element. These badges could be earned through user actions.
To maintain our goal of avoiding shitposting, the badges were primarily focused on exploring and using the app rather than on posting.
As a social app, I think of a level system where users level up once an XP meter is filled. Each level allows them to earn more credits to place a permanent marker in the world.
To encourage exploration, I thought of a hotspot system! XP boost zones would appear on the map for a limited time and allow users to boost their XP if they discover wanderers in those zones.
