Unit One: Fiction

The key skills you will apply while working through this website over the next few weeks will include identifying subgenres of fiction and folktales, plot elements, character traits, theme, word choice, and figurative language. We will also discuss how we can use published authors as mentors to our own writing. We will focus primarily on standards 7.4 and 7.5.
