Pets are a feature in Poptropica. They were added on January 31st, 2019. You can adopt pets in the Pet Barn on Home Island. You can choose from five of the pets, which are kittens, puppies, bunnies, lizards, and goats, although only members can adopt the last three. A version of the Colorizer also exists for pets and is located in the Pet Barn as well. Pets do not serve a gameplay purpose, and are purely cosmetic, following your Poptropican around as you play the game. Your pets are stored in the "Pets" inventory tab and can be chosen from there. On March 13th, 2019, accessories for pets were added. They cost 75 Credits each.
These pets will make your experience as a Poptropican even better. They will follow you around and are incredibly loyal to you! Bring them on your adventure, and let them be one of your inspirations to finish the quest.

In Poptropica, there are many islands that you can go to and explore. Each of these islands has its obstacles and quest that you need to go through. The game is so interactive that you will be forced to follow instructions to finish the journey on that specific island.
One such island is called Monster Carnival Island. It's Portropica's 37th island. It's also known as "the island that never was" because it appeared as coming soon on the Map last 200, but mysteriously disappeared and was replaced by 24 Carrot Island.
Synopsis:
"In the dead of night, a caravan rumbles into town. The traveling carnival has returned! But this is no day at the park. Behind the lights and the laughter, the carnival harbors a dark secret. Buy a ticket if you dare, but beware — once you enter, you may never be able to escape the Monster Carnival!"
Once you enter, go right and talk to the guy who will introduce himself as Edgar, a carnie trainee. He says he doesn’t think the carnival will be ready in time! Follow him through to the next area labeled ‘Carnival.’
There are many quests that you need to complete. In the daytime, a guy will tell you that the lever is broken. After you're done talking to him, you go somewherwe where you'll find a lever and give it to the guy. Also, you'll need to speak to a lady in a dough stand, and she'll hand you a formula for Sugar, which you will help her make. After that, you'll go to an Apothecary, and they will give you a sheet with a formula for Salt. Mix the ingredients and make the Salt. Once done, give it to the apothecary front, and they'll let you use the lab to get the podered Sugar.
These are just some of the quests that you will need to follow through when you enter Monster Island Carnival. We give you an example, so you'll know what to expect once you are playing the game.
Common room: Lazy Sundae Ice Cream — the phrase “I scream (you scream)” on the wall is a pun on “ice cream.”
According to the first copy of the newspaper you can read by talking to someone on Main Street, the current year is 1956. More past issues of The Standard can be read later on in the quest.
Honest Gabe’s Auto Repair has a sign that says “PPTRPC HQ” – “Poptropica HQ” with the vowels taken out. Poptropica HQ plays a significant part in Mocktropica Island. There is also a sign that says “the best Krpata motor oil” – a reference to Poptropica Creator Mitch Krpata.
Betty Brownie from Reality TV Island can be seen in one of the Bird Boy publications (The Standard).
The old newspapers also make brief recommendations to The Hunchback of Notre Dame – one article’s author is Esmeralda Modo, after the story’s gypsy, Esmeralda, and the titular hunchback, Quasimodo. Another piece mentions Bird Boy hiding away in a bell-tower, like Quasimodo in the story.
The carnie trainee, Edgar, may be named after the writer Edgar Allan Poe, famously known for his poem, The Raven — and as we know, there’s the infamous Ringmaster Raven…
The young girl calls her brother “Bubby,” sort of like how Manny from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books calls his brother Greg “Bubby.” (Diary of a Wimpy Kid is by Jeff Kinney, Poptropica’s founder.)

Once you return to normal, Cactus is shocked to learn about the treatment because he thought the only way to stop vampires was to kill them.
