This Privacy Policy describes how the "Poop Tracker" application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") collects, uses, processes, and protects the information you provide when using our service. Our product is designed to help dog owners track the well-being, behavior, and biorhythms of their pets through daily telemetry and an AI-assisted companion.
To ensure the proper functioning of the App, we collect and process the following categories of data:
Authentication Information: Email address used for registration, secure authorization, and account protection, managed via Supabase Auth.
Dog Specifications: Name, breed, date of birth (age), sex, current weight, as well as vaccination, deworming, and neutered/spayed status flags.
Media Files: Dog profile photos and avatars uploaded voluntarily by the user.
Stool Records: Frequency, consistency (form score), color, and stool photos uploaded for AI-assisted analysis.
Nutrition Logs: Food type (dry, wet, or raw), food brand or name, and precise portions measured in grams.
Walk Sessions: Start and end timestamps, total duration, GPS routes (coordinates), and physiological events recorded during the walk (urination, defecation).
Behavioral and Environmental Factors: Documentation of social reactivity, environmental fears (fear of sounds, objects, locations), stress signs, domestic incidents, and lifestyle events (bathing, vet visits, grooming sessions).
Performance Indicators: Disidentified usage metrics, operational logs, crash reports, and system performance data collected via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
We use the collected information strictly to provide and improve the App's core functionality, including:
Visualizing daily puppy telemetry and generating the interactive 24-hour Biorhythm Timeline.
Formulating long-term behavioral trends on the Behavior Dashboard.
Scheduling local app notifications to remind you of optimal upcoming walk times.
Generating contextual AI summaries regarding your pet's wellness using Google Gemini models.
Our App utilizes advanced multimodal and language models to analyze historical pet patterns safely:
Secure Gateway Routing: All AI generation requests are processed through secure serverless environments (Supabase Edge Functions). Your GEMINI_API_KEY is never stored on the client-side binary and cannot be compromised.
Data Anonymization for AI: Only raw, technical telemetry (such as food weight, walk count, stool color scores) or media components are passed to the AI engine. Personally identifiable information (such as your account email or passwords) is never exposed to AI models.
EXIF Metadata Stripping: Before any photo is uploaded to cloud storage, the App automatically strips all EXIF metadata (including camera GPS coordinates) to completely guarantee the privacy of your home location.
Veterinary Disclaimer: All AI outputs, summaries, and suggestions are for educational and informational purposes only. The App is not a veterinary diagnostic system and never issues definitive medical conclusions, clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, or pharmaceutical dosages. Always consult a certified veterinarian regarding your dog's physical health.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. To maintain a secure cloud infrastructure, data is processed by the following verified sub-processors:
Supabase, Inc. (Hosts our production database, manages user authentication, secure file storage via Supabase Storage, and executes serverless Edge Functions).
Google LLC / Firebase (Aggregates operational crash logs and user engagement statistics to maintain application stability).
Google Gemini API (Provides underlying AI model infrastructure for contextual payload generations).
If you explicitly choose to share a walk log to the public Community Feed, other active users will be able to see your dog’s name, avatar, walk duration, public post-walk photo, and the GPS route map. This action is entirely voluntary and is governed by an explicit privacy toggle accessible before saving any walk session.
The App is built on principles of absolute data autonomy and user control:
Data Correction: You can update your pet's metrics or delete individual daily logs at any time.
Pet Profile Removal: You can permanently delete any specific dog profile from your account. This action instantly purges that dog’s entire historical telemetry records, walk tracks, and AI reports from the database.
Complete Account Deletion: Accessible via the "Settings" menu, the "Delete Account" function allows you to permanently terminate your account. Executing this will completely and irretrievably erase your email identity, profile states, multi-dog configurations, and all uploaded media files from our cloud storage nodes.
