Paw-pals
Paw-pals
“The Paw-pals” is an animal adoption website that has options for adoption, fostering and volunteering facilities.
“The Paw-pals” is an animal adoption centre that required a website with various services that they were providing.
To create a website including all the service requirements, which needed to be eye-catching.
UX designer designing a responsive website for “The Paw-pals” from conception to delivery.
I spoke with the owners of “The Paw-pals”, who required a website for their animal adoption centre. Upon research, users required an easy way to browse services, such as adoption, fostering and volunteering. Also, the website needed to be eye-catching to get people to adopt more pets.
Pain points :
A website that attracts users to adopt pets.
A simple and easy-to-use website was required to make the website accessible and inclusive.
Text-heavy menus are often time-consuming to read and hence required less text heavy.
Based on the information derived from the user research, I created a persona whose demographics, motivations, goals and frustrations represent the user's needs.
Mapping Ms Stella's user journey revealed the requirement to have the website "Paw-pals".
I made a sitemap that indicated the Information Architecture (IA) of the website consisting of the parent and child webpages.
I created the digital wireframes based on the user research.
I created a low-fidelity prototype to demonstrate the basic user flow.

I created mockups after finalizing the low-fidelity prototype.
I proceeded to create a high-fidelity prototype.

I designed two size variations which include designs for mobile and desktop versions. Optimized version creation took place considering user requirements and the display size for each device.
Detailed case study :
I made a detailed presentation for this project as a part of a Google UX course assignment by Coursera.
This project I worked on as a part of the UX course conducted by Google via Coursera has provided me with immense happiness. It's been a journey to have learned new many new concepts. Thank you for your patience and for reading my UX case study.
