IN THE NEWS
The Ponca FBLA has been busy working on our chapter projects for the Spring Leadership Conference in Omaha this April. Our Go Green committee has been busy promoting recycling at our school. This year we are recycling markers and committing to be "greener" in the classroom. Our Connect With Business committee hosted a guest speaker, Jim Kingsbury, who talked about his career and what he learned about success through his many experiences. Ponca FBLA supported the Orphan Grain Train and Food Bank of Dixon County with financial donations and a canned food drive at school on Valentine’s Day. These activities are being planned by our Feed Nebraska committee. The StepUp2Tech committee has been maintaining our social media accounts and updating our website. Our chapter will again be funding two $150.00 scholarships for graduating seniors studying business or technology. We have been running the junior high athletics concession stand as a fundraiser and we have added Pastry Puffins sales as a second fundraiser. Pastry Puffins sales will start in March. See one of our members for orders.
