Pomodoro is a local timer. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party scripts.
Your timer settings, current phase, remaining time, and completed session count are saved locally in your browser using localStorage (web app) or chrome.storage.local (extension). This data never leaves your device.
Uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser data permanently removes all stored information.
storage — persists your settings and timer state so the timer survives browser restarts.
alarms — schedules accurate phase-end events so the timer fires reliably even when the popup is closed.
notifications — shows a desktop notification when a focus or break session ends.
These permissions are used only for the features described above. They are not used to read browsing data, contact remote servers, or track activity outside the timer.
We do not use analytics platforms, advertising networks, error trackers, or any other third-party services. We do not embed third-party scripts.
The timer does not collect any data, so there is nothing to collect from children. The product is suitable for all ages.
