Privacy Policy for IQ Test Free

IQ Test Free provides a short cognitive assessment, an experimental
Estimated IQ result, local test history, and personalized daily cognitive
exercise recommendations.
1. Information stored locally
The extension stores test answers, question identifiers, completion time,
Estimated IQ results, category results, test history, daily task progress,
streak information, language preferences, and extension settings locally
on the user's device using Chrome storage.
This locally stored information is used to provide test results, history,
progress, and personalized recommendations. The extension does not transmit
IQ test answers, Estimated IQ results, category scores, or test history to
Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, the developer, or other third parties.
**Anonymous Progress Tracking (Goals)**
To understand how users interact with the extension and to improve the user experience, the extension securely transmits anonymous progress events (e.g., "completed question 1", "saw results screen") directly to Yandex Metrica via a server-side API (Measurement Protocol). This tracking uses an anonymous, randomly generated identifier stored locally. It does not transmit any specific test answers, cognitive data, or Estimated IQ scores.
No account is required to use the extension.
2. Extension permissions
Storage is used to save test progress, results, history, daily task progress,
streak information, and preferences locally.
Tabs is used to open the test and to find or activate an existing test tab,
preventing duplicate test tabs.
Windows is used to bring the browser window containing an existing test tab
to the foreground.
The extension uses a content script on its associated welcome website only
to receive an explicit user request to open the extension test. It does not
read or transmit the content of unrelated webpages.
3. Welcome and uninstall webpages
After installation, the extension opens:
https://welcome.topmarketinglab.store/
After removal, the browser may open:
https://uninstall.topmarketinglab.store/
These associated webpages use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrica to
measure page visits, traffic sources, clicks, scrolling, link interactions,
browser and device characteristics, approximate location derived from an
IP address, and the performance of these webpages.
Yandex Metrica Webvisor and clickmap may be used to record and analyze
interactions with these associated webpages. IQ test answers, Estimated IQ
results, category scores, and local test history are not included on these
webpages and are not sent to these analytics services.
Analytics information is retained for 14 months in Google
Analytics and up to 12 months in Yandex Metrica, subject
to the configured account settings and the providers' applicable policies.
4. Voluntary uninstall feedback
The uninstall webpage may display an embedded Google Forms questionnaire.
Any response is submitted voluntarily and is processed by Google Forms.
The information processed depends on what the user chooses to enter in the
form. Users should not submit sensitive personal information.
5. External links
The extension contains an optional link to https://dualnbackapp.com/.
The link includes standard UTM campaign parameters identifying the extension
as the referral source. IQ test answers, Estimated IQ results, category
scores, age information, and test history are not included in the URL.
Information processed after visiting an external website is subject to that
website's own privacy policy.
6. Sharing and sale of information
The developer does not sell or rent IQ test answers, Estimated IQ results,
category scores, or locally stored test history.
Technical interaction data from the associated welcome and uninstall
webpages is processed by Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica for product
analytics and webpage improvement as described above. Voluntary uninstall
feedback is processed by Google Forms.
7. Retention and deletion
Locally stored extension information remains on the user's device until the
user clears the test history, clears the extension's storage, or uninstalls
the extension.
Analytics and voluntary feedback information is retained according to the
periods and account settings described above. Users may contact the developer
at support@brainexerciseapp.com with privacy or deletion questions.
8. Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome
Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension's functionality,
analytics configuration, or data practices change. The effective date will
be updated accordingly.
