To provide our automated messaging services, we require access to certain information through the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) API. When you connect your account, we collect:
Profile Information: Your Facebook/Instagram User ID, Username, and Name.
Authentication Data: Meta Access Tokens required to authenticate your account and execute approved automated actions on your behalf.
Instagram Data: When an automation rule is triggered, our system reads incoming public comments (text, comment ID, media ID) on your connected Instagram account to dispatch the correct automated Direct Message (DM).
2. How We Use Your Information
We strictly use the information we collect to operate the LinkDrop service. Specifically, we use your data to:
Listen for your predefined keyword triggers in your Instagram comments.
Automatically send Direct Messages to users who trigger your automation workflows.
Maintain the security and active connection of your Meta Access Tokens.
Provide customer support and dashboard analytics for your account.
Note: We do not use your Instagram data to train AI models, and we do not read your personal direct message inbox history. Our system only processes messages and comments relevant to your active automation rules.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is only shared with:
Meta Platforms, Inc.: Data is processed directly through Meta's official Graph API to facilitate the core automation functionality.
Cloud Hosting Providers: Your configuration data and secure tokens are stored on our encrypted, private database servers to ensure continuous service availability.
4. Data Retention and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including database encryption, to protect your Meta Access Tokens and profile data. We retain your profile information and active tokens only for as long as you maintain an active account with LinkDrop.
5. Data Deletion and Revoking Access (Important)
You have complete control over your data. You can disconnect LinkDrop from your Instagram account at any time.
Revoke Access: You can remove our application's access directly from your Facebook/Instagram Settings under the "Apps and Websites" menu.
Account Deletion: To request the complete deletion of your account, database profile, and all associated Access Tokens from our servers, please contact us at mogahelpteam@gmail.com. We will process and complete all data deletion requests within 7 business days.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service or Meta's API guidelines. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
