This Privacy Policy describes how Easy Flashlight ("Easy Flashlight," the "App," "we," or "us") handles information when you install or use the App.
Easy Flashlight provides a device flashlight, a screen-based light, and a digital compass. Some releases may also include adjustable brightness, blinking patterns, or an SOS light mode. The App is supported by advertising and may use third-party services for advertisements, analytics, attribution, consent management, security, and crash diagnostics.
By using Easy Flashlight, you acknowledge the practices described below. Where consent is legally required, we will request it separately and will not rely only on your use of the App as consent.
1. QUICK SUMMARY
• The camera permission is used to operate the device's rear flash. Easy Flashlight does not use it to photograph or record you.
• The compass reads magnetic-field, acceleration, rotation, and orientation sensors. These readings are normally evaluated on the device and are not used to discover your geographic position.
• The App may show advertisements. Advertising and analytics providers may receive identifiers and technical information, as described in this Policy.
• Easy Flashlight does not sell the images, recordings, precise location, contacts, messages, or files on your device. The App does not need these items for its stated flashlight and compass functions.
• You can control permissions and advertising preferences using the App or your device settings where those controls are available.
2. INFORMATION USED BY THE APP'S CORE FEATURES
2.1 Flash and Camera Hardware
On some devices and operating-system versions, controlling the rear LED flash requires access to camera hardware or the camera permission. Easy Flashlight uses that access to switch the flash on and off and, when available, to operate brightness levels, blinking patterns, or SOS signals selected by you.
Easy Flashlight does not use this access to:
• Take photographs;
• Record audio or video;
• View or analyze the scene around you;
• Apply facial recognition or identify people;
• Save or send camera content.
Flash access begins when you activate a related control. If you refuse or later remove the camera permission, the rear-flash feature may stop working. A screen-light feature may remain available.
2.2 Compass Measurements
The compass function may read data produced by hardware sensors, including the magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, and rotation or orientation sensors. The App combines available measurements to estimate the direction in which the device is pointing and to animate the compass display.
These transient readings are normally calculated locally, are not intended to identify a user, and are not used for targeted advertising. Easy Flashlight does not need GPS coordinates to show magnetic direction and does not request precise location solely for its compass.
Not every device includes the required sensors. Metal objects, magnets, electronic equipment, an uncalibrated sensor, or the device case can affect accuracy.
2.3 Preferences Kept on the Device
Easy Flashlight may remember choices such as the last light mode, display theme, brightness level, compass presentation, consent status, and tutorial completion. These preferences are generally stored in the App's local storage. Depending on your device settings, the operating system may include them in a device backup.
3. TECHNICAL, ADVERTISING, AND MEASUREMENT INFORMATION
We and companies that provide services within the App may automatically process limited technical or activity information, including:
• Advertising identifiers, such as the Google Advertising ID, when available and permitted;
• An App installation, instance, or SDK-generated identifier;
• Device brand, model, screen characteristics, language, time zone, and general configuration;
• Operating-system version, App version, and installation source;
• IP address, network type, carrier, and connection status;
• The country, city, or general region estimated from an IP address or device settings;
• App launches, screens viewed, features selected, session timing, and consent events;
• Advertisement requests, impressions, clicks, conversions, and campaign attribution;
• Error messages, crash traces, responsiveness, memory use, and other performance diagnostics;
• Signals used to detect automated activity, invalid advertising traffic, fraud, or security threats.
This information does not include photographs or video captured by Easy Flashlight, because the App does not capture such material. It is also not intended to include raw compass readings for advertising personalization.
We do not intentionally collect your name, postal address, telephone number, contact list, text messages, call history, or the contents of personal files through the ordinary operation of the App.
4. WHY INFORMATION IS PROCESSED
Information may be processed for the following purposes:
• Operating the flashlight, screen light, compass, and related controls;
• Restoring the settings you chose;
• Confirming compatibility with different devices and operating-system versions;
• Finding and repairing crashes, freezes, and performance problems;
• Understanding which App features are useful and improving the user experience;
• Requesting, displaying, limiting, and measuring advertisements;
• Providing personalized advertising when allowed by law and by your choices;
• Attributing installations or other events to advertising campaigns;
• Protecting the App and advertising ecosystem against fraud, abuse, and invalid traffic;
• Satisfying legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and app-platform obligations;
• Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
5. ADVERTISING AND YOUR CHOICES
Easy Flashlight may contain banners, interstitial advertisements, rewarded advertisements, or other advertising formats. An advertising provider may use the information listed in Section 3 to select an advertisement, report whether it was displayed or selected, avoid showing it too frequently, calculate campaign results, and identify fraudulent traffic.
Depending on your region, consent, age eligibility, and device settings, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized. Non-personalized advertisements may still use contextual information, coarse region, frequency controls, and anti-fraud signals.
Where legally required, Easy Flashlight will present a consent interface before enabling relevant personalized advertising or similar storage and access. You may be able to withdraw or change that choice through an in-App privacy control. You can also use the privacy or advertising section of your device settings to reset or delete the advertising identifier or limit supported forms of ad personalization.
The exact controls and terminology vary by operating system and region. Changing an advertising preference does not necessarily remove all advertisements from the App.
6. OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Easy Flashlight may use software development kits and services supplied by other companies for advertising, analytics, attribution, crash reporting, performance monitoring, consent collection, and fraud prevention. Depending on the App version, distribution channel, and country, providers may include Google, Firebase, Meta, Liftoff (Vungle), and Pangle.
Those companies may process technical, advertising, usage, diagnostic, and approximate-location information under their own terms and privacy notices. Their policies can be reviewed here:

The list of active providers may change when the App's technical integrations change. A provider controls information it processes for its own purposes and is responsible for its practices under applicable law.
7. WHEN INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED
We may disclose relevant information:
• To vendors that perform the services described in this Policy on our behalf or through their SDKs;
• When reasonably necessary to comply with a subpoena, court order, law, regulation, or valid request from a competent authority;
• When needed to investigate misconduct, protect users, secure the App, prevent fraud, or protect legal rights;
• To professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or potential transaction parties under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
• As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, insolvency, or transfer of all or part of the App business;
• With another party when you have directed us to do so or provided valid consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising more broadly; where those definitions apply, you may have the opt-out rights described in Section 10.
8. STORAGE AND RETENTION
Compass measurements are normally used moment by moment to render the compass and are not maintained by Easy Flashlight as a history of your movement. App preferences remain locally until you change them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App, unless restored from a device backup.
Service providers may retain analytics, advertising, attribution, security, and diagnostic records for periods established in their policies. We retain information under our control only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, including service operation, measurement, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention depends on the nature of the record, applicable law, and whether the information has been aggregated or de-identified.
Deleting Easy Flashlight normally removes its private local data, but it does not automatically delete information already processed by an outside provider or stored in an operating-system backup.
9. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Advertising, analytics, and infrastructure providers may operate from multiple countries. As a result, technical information may be transferred to or processed in a country whose privacy laws differ from those where you live. When a law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguard, the responsible party will use an applicable mechanism, such as contractual protections.
10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Your rights depend on where you live. Subject to applicable exceptions, they may include the right to:
• Know whether personal information about you is processed and obtain access to it;
• Request correction or deletion;
• Restrict or object to a processing activity;
• Withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal;
• Receive certain information in a portable format;
• Opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying sales or sharing of personal information;
• Appeal a decision regarding a privacy request where local law provides that right;
• Complain to a competent privacy or data-protection authority.
You may revoke camera access in the operating system, erase the App's local data, manage an in-App consent choice where offered, or uninstall the App at any time.
To make a privacy request, use the contact address in Section 16 after it has been published. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and process the request. We cannot retrieve sensor readings or preferences that exist only on your device, and we may direct you to the relevant provider for information controlled solely by that provider.
11. CHILDREN
Easy Flashlight is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. If the law where a user lives establishes a higher age for independent consent, that higher threshold applies. We do not knowingly seek personal information from a child below the applicable age without valid authorization.
If we learn that a child's personal information was processed in a manner that violates applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to remove it. A parent or guardian may contact us using the address that will be added to Section 16.
12. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Measures may include limiting access, using secure transmission where appropriate, maintaining software, and monitoring for abuse.
No application, network, or storage method is completely secure. We therefore cannot promise that information will never be lost, intercepted, or improperly accessed.
13. PERMISSION NOTICE
CAMERA / FLASHLIGHT HARDWARE
Why it is needed: To operate the rear LED as a flashlight and provide user-selected light patterns.
How it is handled: The App sends controls to the flash hardware. It does not take photographs, record video, inspect camera imagery, or upload camera content.
What happens if it is denied: The rear LED flashlight may be unavailable. Features that do not need that permission may continue to operate.
COMPASS SENSORS
Why they are used: To calculate and show magnetic direction and device orientation.
How they are handled: Readings are normally processed locally and temporarily. They are not precise GPS location and are not used to personalize advertisements.
What happens if sensors are absent: The compass may be unavailable or inaccurate.
When required by the applicable platform, an in-App notice will be shown before a sensitive permission request and will explain its immediate purpose.
14. SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not aim a bright light at a person's eyes. Blinking or strobe effects can cause discomfort and may trigger seizures or other reactions in people with photosensitivity. Use those modes with care.
A mobile-device compass may be affected by calibration, magnetic fields, buildings, vehicles, electronics, and hardware limitations. Easy Flashlight is not professional navigation or emergency equipment. Do not rely on it as the only means of navigation or safety support, particularly for aviation, marine travel, wilderness navigation, or an emergency.
15. POLICY REVISIONS
We may revise this Privacy Policy when features, providers, laws, or data practices change. The current version will be made available on the App's privacy-policy page or from within the App, and the date at the beginning will be updated. If a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it in the required manner.
