1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Caption Bangla mobile application ("Application"), developed and maintained by Limon iT Lab ("Service Provider," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Caption Bangla is a Bangla caption, quote, and status content app. Users browse categorized captions, search for content, save favorites, and copy or share captions to other apps. The Application is provided on an "AS IS" basis and is supported by advertising as described in Section 6.

If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the Application immediately.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Application, certain technical data may be collected automatically, including:

2.2 App Usage & Content Interaction Data

To operate and improve the Application's content features, we collect data about how you interact with captions, including:

Which caption, category, and writer/author you interact with
The type of interaction (copy, share, or mark as favorite)
Aggregated, non-personally-identifying usage analytics via Firebase Analytics

This data is tied to content (caption and category IDs), not to your identity.

2.3 Information You Provide

Feedback & Support: If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, we collect the name you provide, your message/subject, the caption category referenced (if any), and technical details (device model, OS version, app version) to help us respond and diagnose issues.
We do not require account registration to use the Application.

2.4 Photo/Gallery Access

The Application requests access to your device's photo gallery (Photos/Media permission) solely to let you select an attachment Screenshots when submitting an feedback.

2.5 What We Do NOT Collect

Precise GPS or real-time location data
Contacts, microphone, or camera data
Biometric data
Financial credentials or payment card details
Sensitive personal information beyond what is described above

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

To operate, maintain, and improve the Application and its content (captions, categories, search, favorites)
To diagnose and resolve technical errors or crashes
To analyze aggregate, anonymized usage trends (e.g., which categories or captions are most popular) to enhance user experience
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob

4. Content Delivery

Captions, categories, notices, and similar content are delivered to the Application from our servers. Browsing this content involves standard network requests (e.g., your IP address and device data, as described in Section 2.1) but does not require you to create an account or submit personal information.

The Application integrates third-party SDKs to support advertising, analytics, and core functionality. Each of these third parties operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

The Application displays advertisements via Google AdMob to support free access to the Application. Ad delivery may use device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and general technical data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's policies and your device's advertising settings.

We do not disclose your personal information to any third party except in the following limited circumstances:

(b) Rights Protection: To protect the rights, safety, intellectual property, or property of the Service Provider, our users, or the public.

8. Data Retention

We retain automatically collected usage and diagnostic data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law — typically no longer than 24 months.

Your favorites and locally saved preferences are stored on your device and are removed when you uninstall the Application.

9.1 Uninstalling the Application

You may stop all data collection by the Application at any time by uninstalling it through your device's standard uninstall process or via the Google Play Store. Uninstalling will also remove locally stored preferences and favorites.

9.2 Advertising Preferences

You may limit personalized advertising by adjusting your device's advertising settings: Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

9.3 Photo/Gallery Permission

You may revoke the Application's access to your photo gallery at any time via your device's app permission settings. Doing so will only affect the photo-captioning feature; browsing and saving text captions will continue to work normally.

10. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records. 11. Security

We take the security of your information seriously and implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Data transmitted between the Application and our servers, as well as data transmitted through third-party SDKs (such as AdMob and Firebase), uses encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS). While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to promptly addressing any breach that may occur.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
