From smithing, to cooking, to expeditions, it's hard to live your life without running into one of these organizations now and then. The Aetherium Exploration Society or A.E.S. for short, is an organization that focuses heavily on exploring the continent and any secrets it might be hiding. Stationed in the small, but bustling city of Icimore in the south, the organization's main base is always full of activity and researchers alike. The group was founded around twenty years ago by its leader Claude, and his wife Catarina. The two are historians that wanted to learn more about the continent they lived in. Instead of going about their research alone, they founded the A.E.S. for all researchers; novice or expert.

Aside from research, the Exploration Society is also known as one of the biggest distributor of all kinds of maps to the whole continent. Whether it's a map of the entire continent, or a topographical map of a specific area, you'll be sure to find one in stores with the A.E.S.'s logo on it.

The Pokemon Expedition Federation, or P.E.F. for short, is an organization that has been around for an incredibly long time. Hidden from the eyes of the human public, it exists to discover new lands, help those in need, and further understand Aetherium as a whole. An entirely Pokemon based organization, their work focuses on Pokemon and Pokemon alone. The group is easily recognizable by Pokemon everywhere by their badges, whose color denotes their rank in the group. Any Pokemon is welcome to join, and usually forms a team with one or two other Pokemon to take on posted jobs.

The Federation's current leader, Saryu, is a great-granddaughter of the founder, and takes her job seriously. She's very no nonsense, which makes it hard for her somewhat clumsy second in command: Gideon. Researching and cartography is done by the kindly Adonia who hides herself in her study most of the day. She's incredibly fascinated by the Myst, and wishes to get her hands on some of the distilled Aether the humans have been able to make. All jobs are received and distributed by Milan, a head postman of sorts (but never call him that). It's his duty to make sure each kingdom's base receives its messages and the job boards are always kept up to date accordingly.
