I was getting mad having to manually put my amulet coin in the bag then back on to my new pokemon everytime I switched them, because the UI doesn't indicate anywhere there's a key for quick swapping held items, and the adventure guide doesn't either.

Turns out you can press ZL while hovering over the pokemon in the X menu to quickly swap items ! Once you press ZL you enter into "item mode" with the item and its name popping up beneath each pokemon. You can then switch them around using A on the first item then A again on the second item to switch. Press B to exit "item mode" once you're done swapping around. Also useful for stuff like lucky egg, poke doll, bracers, etc.

Hello. Huge pokemon fan here.. loved the series since Pikachu yellow. I've been thinking about getting scarlet or violet but the reviews and word of mouth is that they're ... Pretty rough .. does anyone recommend them ? Have they patched the game to fix the problems they've been having or will they even? Just curious as to everyones opinions / advice

I was recently gifted a switch and wanted to get the newest Pokmon game, but have been seeing a lot of negative reviews on them (performance and bugs). Is scarlet/violet the purchase I should make or should I go for another switch Pokmon game. Which one has been your favorite?

I skipped the 3ds and then played sword on the switch. It was okay but not my favourite, definitely not a fan of the dynamax mechanic and of course the story was lacking. Gameplay was easy but good if I set limitations which is all I am asking for in a pokemon game.

Hi I've been trying to connect Pokemon go to my violet game and it doesn't connect, any help, I've already tried to restart both my switch and my phone, delete the cache from the PoGo app and my switch (yes you can do that), disconnect and unlink all Bluetooth devices from my phone, detached the joy cons and move them away from the console (different room) and no luck. Any tips. And yes I'm connected to the same wifi network

Every time I catch a shiny the Pokedex changes the pokemon looks to the shiny but I don't know how to switch to the regular colors of the pokemon to compare them. Or between genders. Is that even possible? Tried every button.

ik im late to the hype and its been like-- what? nearly half a year since SV came out? well i recently got back into the pokemon fandom and ive been wanting to get Violet for a few months now. cant get the games i actually want since theyre all on the DS and ive heard everywhere that BDSP kinda sucks, contemplated getting LOA but a friend told me its really hard which is probably not a good idea for me to get since im a!!! beginner!!! when it comes to pokemon games (ive only ever played pokemon go?? and its kinda mid too). now im dead set on getting pokemon violet (only getting ONE because im not paying 120 to get a pair of games) but 60 dollars is still a LOT to spend on one game. i mean ive heard that it's finally getting a patch and so the bugs wont really be that much of a problem but im still not sure.
