I'm having a serious problem with the 1.20 version, I can enter my single player world and play for about 20 seconds but then it crashes. My exit code (255) says "The game crashed whilst rendering entity in world

Remember this. Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a much bigger Gameworld than Scarlet/Violet, is capable of loading way more assets and NPC's on the screen, with longer draw distance and still looks and runs better in both handheld and docked. This game was launched over 7 years ago!

In comparison, the Scarlet/Violet gameworld looks like a barren and disjointed mess, with tiny asset drawing distance and pokemon suddenly popping in view 10 meters in front of you and it still runs like utter poo! /facepalm

you can blame white knights and pokemon's competitive scene for this. the whole point of it is to prevent people from cloning pokemon by sending the mons to HOME then reloading the backup. even the built in backup for PLA and SV is made to back-up everything but the pokemon. so, if say some rare pokemon from an event during the gba era was killed off by a save that was corrupted, theres no getting it back... even worse if it was a fully legit shiny mew or shiny colosseum jirachi.

the anti-clone programming in BDSP to prevent clones made by the glitch also brough with it an issue, namely the fact that you can't send a shedija from BDSP to HOME due to it being a clone by default.

closer to launch impressions made it seem like the technical issues were closer to sword/shield or arceus but it ended up having a lot more issues than those two games and from what i gather the performance problems since launch are still there (not sure about the data leak issue which needed a reset to fix) and there has been very little communication from publishers regarding the issue, i was hoping at least that the pokemon presents would mention them and maybe some kind of roadmap for fixes but instead they advertised new dlc to buy.

New to the 1.20 update is the ability to hang signs, and playable mob sounds. It might sound a bit grim, but you can now place mob heads onto note blocks to play the sound specific to that mob. Armour trims are another new feature which you can dye into one of ten colours and add to your armour by using a smithing table.
