An alpha Pokmon (Japanese: tag_hash_107 boss) is a variety of Pokmon found in Pokmon Legends: Arceus. They are larger-than-normal Pokmon that appear in Hisui with increased combat capabilities. Alpha Pokmon can be identified with the icon in the Pokmon's summary screen and on their health bar in the wild (if transferred to Pokmon Scarlet and Violet, they have the Alpha Mark instead). Additionally, wild alpha Pokmon have glowing red eyes, except for Zubat.

Shortly after the player joins the Survey Corps, an alpha Kricketune intrudes on Deertrack Heights. Mai, the Warden who oversees Wyrdeer, enlists Akari/Rei to help defeat the Kricketune, who in turn asks the player to aid Mai due to their skill in Pokmon battles.

While Ingo is leading the player through Wayward Cave, an alpha Crobat appears along the route. Ingo insists that the player not battle it due to the reduced visibility caused by the absence of the cave's torches, and leads them on a detour to avoid it. The player is unable to battle or catch this particular alpha Pokmon until Ingo reinstalls the torches in the cave.

In the wild, alpha Pokmon will be at a higher level than other species of the same kind that can be found in that area, will have at least three stats with individual values of 31 (expressed in this game as initial effort levels of 3) and will know and have mastered a move that cannot be learned by leveling up. Alpha Pokmon cannot be caught outside of battle if they are significantly higher level than the player's current obedience level. They can, however, be caught regardless of level during a battle with them. Regardless of the species' normal behavior, alpha Pokmon (except for Mantyke and Mantine) are always aggressive towards the player and will never run away, unless a space-time distortion appears around it or it is a species which only appears in the wild at certain times of day. If an alpha Pokmon spots the player, it will roar out a shockwave which, if close enough, will cause the player to be knocked to the ground; they are also forcibly dismounted from their Ride Pokmon if riding Wyrdeer, Ursaluna, or Sneasler.

Fixed alpha Pokmon are specimens that always appear in their alpha form in a specific location. Some of these specimens do not spawn until after parts of the main story are completed, usually needing the region's frenzied Noble to be tamed before appearing in the overworld.

These unique alpha Pokmon can only be found once during the storyline. With the exception of Vespiquen, they do not have the usual guarantee of any stats with individual values of 31 (starting effort levels of 3). The alpha Pokmon found in Acuity, Verity, and Valor Caverns are prevented from being Shiny, and have Scale values of 128 instead of 255. Hisuian Zoroark and Overqwil do not have other fixed alpha spawns on the map.

Alpha Pokmon might be based on the concept of dominance hierarchy in biology. Amongst animal groups, an alpha is a member of the species that has a higher rank in the group's hierarchy, contrary to the beta members who are the more submissive ones. Alpha animals often employ aggression tactics to assert dominance and leadership over their specific groups. This concept may be seen in gameplay, where alpha Pokmon display an aggressive disposition even when members of said species typically would not. They also serve as leaders of the pack, as alpha Pokmon are regularly found in places where unevolved members of their species gather, and even show signs of territorialism, as some alpha Pokmon tend to come to the aid of the lesser members when alerted. Their Japanese name "boss" seems to reinforce this idea of hierarchical leadership.

Once the Devon Goods are returned, the researcher asks the player to deliver them to the shipyard in Slateport City. The player then meets Mr. Stone, the president of the Devon Corporation, who asks that the player stop by Dewford Town and deliver a letter to his son Steven; as thanks for the player's earlier work, Mr. Stone gives the player a new upgrade for the PokNav Plus, the Buzznav. Outside, Brendan or May explains how she or he caught Pokmon in Petalburg Woods, commenting on how Mr. Briney was once a sailor. The player then heads back through the Petalburg Woods to Mr. Briney's house, where he gives the player a ride down Route 105 to Dewford Town. Just north of Dewford on Route 106 is the Granite Cave where Steven is exploring. The cave is open to visitors, but a group of Ruin Maniacs block the room Steven occupies. After the player earns the Knuckle Badge from Brawly at the Dewford Gym, they disappear and the player can find Steven in Granite Cave, looking at a mural of a Groudon marked with omegasOR/Kyogre marked with alphasAS and remembering old legends. After listening to Steven, the player delivers the letter to him, he rewards the player with TM51 (Steel Wing) and tells the player that they could potentially become the Pokmon League Champion.

Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail.I need help in pokemon alpha sapphire in mission I need to sneak with may but I dont sneak and pokemon in this bush is gone and it dont want to respawn what should I do?

Alpha Pokmon appear in Alpha Swarms which occur once every in-game day at a random time and location and last for 75 minutes. Each in-game day lasts six real-life hours, so four alpha swarms appear every real-life day. The location of an Alpha Pokmon will appear visible on the town map. Alpha Pokmon were introduced during part 2 of the 10th anniversary event update and later made into a permanent feature with the release of part 3 of the 10th anniversary update. Early alpha Pokmon were shiny-locked during encounters, but during part 3 of the 10th anniversary event, this restriction was removed. Alpha Pokmon during part 2 of the anniversary event were guaranteed IV's of 15 or greater in each stat.

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, alpha Pokemon are more aggressive and strong than their normal counterparts. They're especially hard to catch and respawn much slower than normal. Needless to say, they make for an excellent challenge.

Now, every Pokemon that spawns into the map has a low (around 5%) chance of spawning as an alpha. That means that, technically, every Pokemon in the game has an alpha form! However, there are a select few that are guaranteed to appear as alphas at specific times and in specific locations. We detail them here for your convenience. 2351a5e196
