Hello all TCM's and Troop Leaders,
First and foremost we want to say thank you to all TCM's and troop leaders for your hard work and dedication in a successful cookie season! We are grateful and lucky to have you as part of the Cookie Team. It is because of you and your troops that we sold 67,973 boxes of cookies!!!!
We are having a Cookie Ceremony celebration to celebrate everyone's hard wok and effort!! It is important to us that everyone is celebrated !! Please SAVE the date: Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
We are combining the Ceremony with rewards pick up as well,so, it will be the one stop shop! We are fully aware that May seems late, however, awards are not being distributed till the end of April/early May. We need time to do inventory and make this a smooth and easy process for everyone. If the TCM is unavailable to pick up rewards please be prepared to sent a Troop leader to pick up. We are hoping that giving you this information now will help ensure that ALL rewards are picked up!!
Here are some frequent FAQ's:
1. Do we have to RSVP
A1: Yes, this is a open event to all registered girls in Point Loma who participated in the cookie season. TCM and Troop leader can decide whether or not to attend. If you choose not to attend, the TCM is still responsible to show up between 11am to 12pm to pick up for your troop. Please fill out the Google Form to RSVP.
2. Do we need permission slips?
A2: Any girls that are not attending with their parents needs a permission slip or if leader is attending the annual permission slip will work. If the girl attends with her parent then she will not need a permission slip. If you have any questions contact firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Do we have to fill out an Activity Approval Form?
A3: No, this is Service Unit Sponsored event.
4. Do parents have to attend?
A4: TCM and troop leaders decide what works best for your troop. Due to the large amount of anticipating girls attending, there will be a limited amount of chairs so keep that in mind. Standing or sitting on the carpet will be their option if we become full.
5. Are the rewards picked up by individual girls and parents?
A5: NO, rewards are going to be inventoried and bagged by troop number. The TCM will then have to separate and check inventory and distribute to the girls in the troop at their earliest convenience.
6. Who can pick up rewards***?
A6: TCM's are the only authorized person who can sign for and pick up rewards. If for some reason the TCM is not able to attend, please fill out the google form and let us know who will be picking up rewards and signing for it. We will not release rewards to anyone else unless we have an email from the TCM. We are only doing pick up of rewards from 11 to 12 PM. We will not be distributing rewards doing the actual ceremony in order to respect the girls and their special moment.
7. I can't attend the reward ceremony? Can we meet another day and time?
A7: We will not receive all the rewards till end of April and May and we still need time to conduct inventory and sort. We fully understand that people have commitments as we do as well. We are hoping that letting you weeks in advance will help you plan accordingly. We can't make any promises at this time but we will do our best. If for some reason the TCM is not able to attend, please fill out the google form and let us know who will be picking up rewards and signing for it.
