Welcome to the webpage of the event "A day on Pointfree Topology, celebrating Jorge Picado's 60th birthday". This is a one-day workshop on Pointfree Topology, one of the main research areas of the group Algebra, Logic and Topology, on the occasion of Jorge Picado's 60th birthday.
This event will be held at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Coimbra on October 12, 2023 (all the talks will be in Room 2.5).
A workshop dinner will take place at 20:00 in Sala Jardim of Quinta das Lágrimas, where we will have the occasion to celebrate Jorge Picado's 60th birthday.
Note that this event will be followed by the XIV edition of the Portuguese Category Seminar to be held on October 13-14, 2023.
