Point Counter is provided by the Point Counter developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Point Counter, including its counter features, advertising, diagnostics, and premium purchases.
For privacy questions, contact apps.quochuy@gmail.com.
Point Counter stores your counter and group names, scores, colors, emojis, saved history, and preferences locally on your device. Saved history includes previous counter values and the date of the group reset.
We use this information to provide counting, organization, history, and customization features. The Counter feature does not upload these records to a developer-operated counter database.
Depending on your device settings, Apple’s device backup services may include locally stored app data. These backups are separate from Point Counter’s local storage and are managed through your Apple settings.
Point Counter uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature usage and improve the app. The Counter feature sends events describing actions such as creating a counter, changing a setting, resetting scores, and starting an export. Event details may include counter or group counts and preference values, including configured quick-adjustment amounts. These custom events do not include your entered counter names, group names, or current counter scores.
Google Analytics may also collect app-instance identifiers, device and app information, and information about app interactions. See Google Analytics for Firebase data collection.
Point Counter uses Firebase Crashlytics to help diagnose crashes and improve reliability. Crash reports may include installation identifiers, crash traces, and device or app information. See Firebase privacy information.
Point Counter uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google’s advertising services may collect IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, device identifiers, advertising interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. This information supports advertising, measurement, and service improvements. See Google Mobile Ads data disclosures and Google’s Privacy Policy.
The app may display advertising consent messages where applicable and request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency system. You can manage tracking permission in your device’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Declining tracking permission restricts access to Apple’s advertising identifier. It does not necessarily stop all advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or other service-related data collection.
Point Counter uses RevenueCat to verify purchases, restore purchases, and determine access to premium features.
RevenueCat processes purchase history and an automatically generated app user identifier to support these features and purchase analytics. See RevenueCat’s purchase-data disclosures and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Payments are handled through Apple’s App Store. Point Counter does not receive your full payment-card details.
When you choose to export counters, Point Counter creates a CSV file containing group names, counter names, scores, colors, and emojis.
When you choose to share saved history, the app creates an image containing the selected history ranking or score chart.
These actions use your device’s sharing interface. Any recipient, app, or service you select receives the content you share and handles it under its own practices. Exported or shared copies may remain outside Point Counter after you delete the original app data.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or other information you provide. We use this information to respond to questions, provide support, and handle privacy requests.
Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
Local counter data remains on your device until you remove it using the available app controls or delete the app.
Deleting an individual counter, or using the delete-all-counters action, removes current counters but does not erase previously saved history. Resetting a group’s scores can save a history snapshot before setting the current scores to zero. Deleting a group removes that group and its associated history; the app requires at least one group to remain.
To remove the app’s local records and preferences, delete the app using iOS’s Delete App option. Offloading the app can retain its data. Device backups and exported or shared copies must be managed separately.
Deleting local data or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete information already processed by Firebase, Google advertising services, RevenueCat, or Apple.
Third-party retention depends on the service, its configuration, and applicable requirements. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle requests and related obligations. Contact us about deletion requests; available deletion may depend on whether we can identify the relevant records and whether retention is required by law.
Information described in this policy is processed by the relevant providers, including Google, RevenueCat, and Apple, to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Providers may process information outside your country of residence. Their privacy policies and applicable terms describe their processing practices and safeguards.
Local app data is subject to your device’s protections, and third-party services apply their own security measures. No storage system or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. You should protect your device and take care when sharing exports or history images.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data protection authority.
Contact apps.quochuy@gmail.com to make a request. We may need information to verify your request and locate relevant records. We do not have remote access to counter records stored only on your device.
Point Counter is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
