If you want a robust, over-ear experience with hybrid active noise cancellation and massive battery life for long sessions like tv watching, choose Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise; if you need ultra-flat, side-sleeping comfort with a dual-bud system for work and rest, choose goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds.
• Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise: Delivers deep bass and 50 hours of playtime with true active noise cancellation, but its over-ear design makes it too bulky for sleeping on your side.
• goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds: Offers a specialized flat profile for side sleepers and includes mini buds for daily wear, though it relies on passive sound isolation rather than active noise cancellation.
• Best for Pointcinco: Commuters, travelers, or home users who prioritize immersive audio quality and blocking out ambient chatter during the day.
• Best for goazzzl: Side sleepers, light sleepers, and professionals needing a single device that transitions seamlessly from daytime focus to nighttime relaxation.
The Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise headphones are built for people who demand immersion and endurance. This isn't a pair of earbuds meant to disappear into your pocket; it is an over-ear solution designed to seal you off from the world. The defining feature here is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. Unlike simple passive blocking, this system actively works to cancel out external frequencies, which creates a truly quiet environment. If you live in a noisy apartment, commute on loud trains, or work in a busy open office, this feature transforms the listening experience. You aren't just turning up the volume to drown out noise; you are removing the noise entirely.
Battery life is another area where this product dominates the spec sheet. With an average life of 50 hours, you can listen for days without ever thinking about plugging in a charger. A full charge takes about 2.5 hours, which is reasonable given the capacity. This makes it ideal for long-haul flights, cross-country road trips, or those marathon gaming and streaming sessions. When you combine that longevity with the dynamic driver delivering HiFi stereo sound and deep bass, you get a rich, detailed audio profile that shines when watching movies or engaging with high-fidelity music.

However, the design dictates exactly who should skip this product. Because these are over-ear headphones weighing in at 11.36 ounces, they simply do not fit under a pillow. If you are a side sleeper, wearing these will be uncomfortable and likely impossible once you close your eyes. They are also less portable than in-ear options due to their foldable but still substantial build. If your primary use case involves lying down in bed while listening to audiobooks or white noise, these are not the right tool for the job. They excel as a stationary or travel companion for the awake hours, offering a premium, classic style that prioritizes audio performance and noise control over compact convenience.
The goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds solve a very specific problem: how to listen comfortably while lying on your side. Most standard earbuds have protruding stems or bulky housings that dig into the ear canal and the outer ear when pressure is applied by a pillow. These goazzzl buds are engineered with an ultra-flat, low-profile shape specifically to eliminate that pressure point. The goal is to let you lie down, relax, and fall asleep without waking up with sore ears or constantly shifting positions to avoid pain. This makes them an essential tool for side sleepers who struggle to find any audio device that stays comfortable all night.
What sets this product apart from typical sleep headphones is the dual-system approach included in the box. You receive two distinct types of earbuds: the flat ones for sleeping and mini earbuds for daily use. The mini buds are incredibly small, weighing only 0.1 oz, and sit deep inside the ear canal, making them almost invisible. They are ergonomic and secure enough for work, commuting, or casual listening during the day. This means you don't need to buy separate devices for different parts of your life. One package handles your focus time at the office and your wind-down time in bed. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensures a stable connection for both scenarios, allowing you to switch between the pairs seamlessly.
Despite their versatility, there are trade-offs to consider regarding audio isolation and durability claims. These earbuds rely on sound isolation and a snug fit rather than active electronic noise cancellation. While they block some ambient noise through their physical design, they won't actively generate anti-noise waves like the Pointcinco headphones. Additionally, the battery life for the active earbuds is listed at 6 hours per charge. While this covers most nights and workdays, it requires more frequent charging compared to the massive 50-hour runtime of the over-ear alternative. However, the inclusion of a wireless charging case and the ability to swap between the two pairs ensures you always have a backup ready, eliminating the anxiety of a dead battery when you need to transition from work to sleep.
• Best for TV Watching: The Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise is superior here because the over-ear design provides better sound staging and the ANC blocks household distractions, creating a theater-like experience.
• Best for Side Sleeping: The goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds are the only viable option; the flat profile prevents pain when lying on your side, whereas the over-ear headphones would be impossible to wear.
• Best Battery Life: Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise wins decisively with 50 hours of playtime compared to the 6 hours offered by the goazzzl buds.
• Best for Daily Versatility: goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds take the lead by including two pairs of earbuds (sleep and mini) in one pack, covering both work and rest needs.
• Best Noise Control: Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise offers true Active Noise Cancellation, actively cancelling external sounds, while goazzzl uses passive sound isolation.
• Best Portability: goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds are significantly smaller and lighter, fitting easily in a pocket or small case without bulk.
• Best for Deep Bass: Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise utilizes dynamic drivers specifically tuned for HiFi stereo sound and deep bass, offering a richer audio experience.
• Best Durability Features: Both offer solid construction, but goazzzl explicitly markets its waterproof capability, making it suitable for environments where moisture might be a concern.
After weighing the specifications and real-world use cases, I recommend the Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise for anyone prioritizing pure audio quality and long-duration listening, especially for tv watching. The combination of hybrid active noise cancellation and 50 hours of battery life creates an immersive bubble that the earbuds cannot match. However, if your lifestyle revolves around sleeping on your side and you need a device that doesn't hurt when you lay your head down, the goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds are the clear winner. I would personally buy the Pointcinco for my daily commute and home entertainment setup, but I would keep the goazzzl in my bedside drawer for the nights when I need to drift off to sleep without ear pain.
Yes, but the choice depends on your preference. The Pointcinco over-ear headphones provide a more immersive, theater-like experience with active noise cancellation, while the goazzzl earbuds are better if you plan to watch TV while lying in bed or need something discreet.
No, the goazzzl Flat Sleep Earbuds include two types of earbuds in one pack: ultra-flat buds for sleeping and mini buds for daily work use, so you do not need to purchase separate devices.
The Pointcinco headphones feature true Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation that electronically cancels external sounds, whereas the goazzzl earbuds rely on passive sound isolation through a tight fit and flat design.
The Pointcinco Hybrid Active Noise headphones offer 50 hours of playtime, making them ideal for long trips without recharging, while the goazzzl earbuds last about 6 hours per charge but come with a charging case for extended use.
