Welcome to "AI Podcast Cover Maker" (the "App"). Your privacy and data security are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is collected, how we use it, and with whom it is shared when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
To provide you with our core service of generating AI podcast cover art, we collect the following limited data:
a. Text Prompts: We collect the text descriptions (prompts) you manually type into the App to describe the podcast cover you want to generate.
b. Device Data (Anonymous): We may collect non-personal, anonymous diagnostic data (such as app crash logs and device type) to improve app stability.
We DO NOT collect personal identifiers, names, email addresses, or account information unless you directly email us for support.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
The data we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:
- To generate the podcast cover artwork you requested.
- To improve the visual quality of the prompts via AI processing.
- To ensure the app functions correctly and to fix any technical issues.
4. SHARING DATA WITH THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES
To generate your artwork, the App must share your text prompts with third-party Artificial Intelligence service providers. In compliance with data protection guidelines, we explicitly disclose the following:
a. What data is sent: ONLY the text prompts (design descriptions) you type into the App. No device identifiers, names, or personal data are attached to these prompts.
b. Who the data is sent to: Your text prompts are securely transmitted via API to:
- OpenAI (for text and prompt enhancement)
- Replicate / Black Forest Labs (for image generation)
c. Third-Party Data Protection: We confirm that the third-party providers (OpenAI and Replicate) provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. They process the text data solely to fulfill the API request and return the generated image.
d. User Permission: The App obtains your explicit consent via an in-app prompt ("AI Data Notice") before sending any text data to these third parties for the first time.
5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS (PHOTOS LIBRARY)
If you choose to save an AI-generated podcast cover to your device, the App will request "Write-Only" (Add to Photos) permission.
- How it is used: This permission is used exclusively to save the final generated image to your camera roll.
- What we do NOT do: The App does NOT read, scan, upload, view, or modify your existing photos or videos in any way.
6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
The text prompts you submit are processed in real-time by our third-party APIs. We do not store a permanent database of your text prompts or generated images on our own servers. Images you save are stored locally on your device.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.
8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
