Not sure if you're aware of this, but I've accomplished some stuff. You can read about it below.
I was born in Dayton, Ohio (birthplace of the Wright brothers and aviation—screw you, Kitty Hawk!), and I grew up in Tipp City, Ohio, a town that started as a stop on the Miami and Erie Canal. They even still have the canal lock. (Not familiar with either city? No worries—most aren't. They're both about an hour north of Cincinnati, Ohio. Haven't heard of that one, either? Click on the links and school yourself, then!)
After high school, I went to Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. Got a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, and a Master of Education in English Education.
Then off into the real world. Was a middle and high school English teacher for a few years. Was a newspaper reporter for a few years. Was a radio DJ for a few years. Was a corporate trainer for a few years. Was a freight handler for a few years. Was lost for many years.
Then, in the fall of 2014, Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus—The Minimalists—invited me to visit them in Missoula, Montana. While there, the gents asked me to join them to help them—The Minimalists was growing beyond what they could handle alone. I accepted, and I moved to Missoula, Montana, with my wife, my teenage daughters, our cat, Loki, and our dog, Cooper, in 2015 (my son stayed behind in Dayton, Ohio—sucker).
In my free time (the little bit of it that exists), I enjoy jamming on guitar, bass, and drums. Need a Don Henley or Phil Collins-esque drummer? Hit me up.
