Privacy Policy for POD Design Bridge

POD Design Bridge is a Chrome extension designed to help users process print-on-demand artwork using supported AI services and image-processing tools.
1. Information We Process
POD Design Bridge may process the following types of information when necessary to provide its functionality:
- User-selected images and artwork
- User-entered prompts and workflow instructions
- Extension settings and workflow preferences
- Authentication tokens provided by the user, such as a Hugging Face API token
- Content from supported websites when required for user-initiated workflows
2. How Information Is Used
The extension uses this information only to provide the features requested by the user, including:
- Sending artwork and instructions to supported AI services
- Processing images
- Retrieving generated artwork
- Removing image backgrounds
- Managing user-initiated workflow queues
- Saving extension settings and preferences
3. Local Storage
POD Design Bridge may store extension settings, workflow preferences, queue data, images, generated results, and authentication information locally using Chrome extension storage.
Authentication tokens are used only to access services explicitly configured by the user.
4. Third-Party Services
Depending on the workflow selected by the user, POD Design Bridge may interact with third-party services including:
- OpenAI / ChatGPT
- Google Gemini
- Hugging Face
- Etsy
User-selected images, prompts, or other workflow information may be transmitted to these services when necessary to complete a user-initiated request.
Use of data by these third-party services is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
5. Authentication Information
If the user provides an authentication token, such as a Hugging Face API token, the extension uses that token only to authenticate requests to the selected service.
POD Design Bridge does not sell authentication information or use it for advertising purposes.
6. Data Sharing
POD Design Bridge does not sell user data.
User information is only transmitted to supported third-party services when necessary to perform a feature explicitly requested by the user.
7. User Activity and Website Content
The extension may access supported browser tabs and website content when required to perform a user-initiated POD artwork workflow.
This access is limited to the functionality necessary for the extension to operate.
8. Data Retention
Information stored locally by the extension remains on the user's device until it is removed by the user, cleared by the extension, or the extension is uninstalled.
Third-party services may retain information according to their own privacy policies.
9. Security
POD Design Bridge is designed to limit access to user information to what is necessary to provide its functionality.
The extension does not intentionally sell, rent, or use user information for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data-processing practices change.
