These terms govern your use of the PocketPig app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
PocketPig is a tool to help families manage children's pocket money, chores, savings goals, and behaviour rewards. It is intended to be set up and administered by a parent or guardian. It is a personal organisation tool and is not a bank, payment service, or financial institution — no real money is held, moved, or transferred through the app. All amounts shown are a record you keep yourself, like a notebook.
The app is free to use for a 30-day trial period. After the trial, a one-time purchase is required to continue using the app. This is a single payment, not a subscription — there are no recurring charges. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID, subject to Apple's own terms. Once purchased, the app is unlocked permanently on Apple IDs you own, and can be restored on other devices using the same Apple ID.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so any refund requests are managed through Apple, not the developer, in line with Apple's refund policy.
All information you enter stays on your device. The developer does not collect, receive, or store any of it. You are responsible for your own device and for keeping backups if you wish to preserve your data. The app offers a backup export feature for this purpose. The developer is not responsible for data lost due to device failure, deletion of the app, or your own actions. Please see the Privacy Policy for full details.
You agree to use the app only for its intended personal, family purpose, and not to attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. While every effort is made to keep it working correctly, the developer does not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. The app is a helper for managing pocket money and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including any loss of data or any decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The app is designed to be operated by an adult on behalf of children in their care. If you allow a child to use the app, you remain responsible for supervising that use.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
