Privacy Policy

Pocket MMA ("the App"), developed by Snap It Studios, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information across all game modes and features.
1. Information We Collect
Sign in with Apple — If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information you authorize — your display name and/or a private relay email. We store this locally on your device to personalize your experience. We never share this data with third parties.
Guest Mode — If you play as a Guest, a random device-local identifier is generated. No personal information is collected or transmitted. Guest sessions are stored entirely on your device.
Gameplay Data — All game data — including save files, promotion details, fighter rosters, fight statistics (strikes, takedowns, submissions), rankings, Hall of Fame entries, tournament brackets, financial records, venue and event history, and Gladiator career progress — is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and standard file storage. None of this data is uploaded to our servers.
Settings & Preferences — Your in-app settings (appearance mode, language preference, text size, injury frequency, advanced settings, weight class customizations, and auto-save preferences) are stored locally and never transmitted.
User-Provided Photos — If you use the Pocket Plus feature to add custom photos to fighters or promotions, those images are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server.
2. AI-Generated Content
Fighter Images — The App uses AI image generation to create profile images for fighters and company logos. These images are generated via external AI services and cached locally. No personal data is sent as part of these image generation requests — only fictional fighter attributes (e.g., nationality, gender) are used as prompts.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Unlimited MMA Subscription — The App offers an auto-renewable subscription ("Unlimited MMA") that unlocks premium features including Company mode, Gladiator mode, tournaments, custom fighters, cross-promotion events, rival interactions, backup fighters, custom starting funding, injury rate adjustment, weight class editing, custom starting positions, and unlimited save slots. All purchase transactions are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store. We never collect, process, or store your payment information.
Pocket Plus Subscription — The App offers a separate auto-renewable subscription ("Pocket Plus") that unlocks quality-of-life features including: time travel (rewind to previous weeks), custom photo uploads for fighters and promotions, unlimited in-game fund additions, dynasty mode (continue as your son in Businessman mode), autopilot (auto-run your company while simulating ahead), and manual ranking editing within your promotion. Pocket Plus is billed separately from Unlimited MMA.
Individual One-Time Purchases — The App offers one-time, non-consumable purchases as an alternative to the Unlimited MMA subscription: Unlock Gladiator Mode ($3.99 USD), Unlock Company Mode ($3.99 USD), and Unlock Rivals ($2.99 USD). These are permanent, non-refundable purchases processed through the App Store. Each unlock grants access to its respective feature set without requiring a subscription.
Currency Packs — The App offers consumable in-app purchases that add in-game currency to your promotion's balance. Available packs range from $10,000 ($0.99 USD) to $100,000,000 ($299.99 USD). Currency is added to your current save game upon purchase. These are one-time consumable purchases processed through the App Store.
RevenueCat — We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription entitlements, one-time purchase verification, and purchase status. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data from Apple. RevenueCat's privacy policy (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) governs their handling of this data.
4. Advertising
Third-Party Ads (Appodeal) — The App displays advertising through the Appodeal SDK, which mediates ads from third-party advertising networks. Ad formats include banner ads, full-screen interstitial video ads, and optional rewarded video ads. To serve, cap, and measure ads, these networks may access device and usage information such as a device/advertising identifier, IP address, device type and operating system, and ad interaction data. This information is handled by the respective ad networks under their own privacy policies. Appodeal's privacy policy is available at https://www.appodeal.com/privacy-policy.
Optional Rewarded Ads — Certain features let you voluntarily watch rewarded video ads — typically two videos, or three for higher-value rewards — in exchange for in-game benefits. Watching rewarded ads is always optional, and the reward is granted only after all required videos are completed.
Ads & Subscriptions — Subscribers do not see forced interstitial or app-open video ads. Banner ads and optional rewarded ads may still be available to everyone. Purchasing a subscription removes forced advertising.
Your Advertising Choices — You can limit ad tracking and reset your advertising identifier on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising. Limiting tracking results in less relevant (non-personalized) ads rather than no ads.
5. Localization
The App supports 34 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Arabic, Hindi, and more. Your language preference is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server.
6. Data Storage & Security
Local-Only Architecture — Your game saves, fighter profiles, fight history, career statistics, financial data, and all progression data are stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate game servers or cloud sync services. Deleting the App will permanently delete all local game data.
Authentication Persistence — Your sign-in state (Apple ID or Guest) is stored locally so you remain logged in between sessions. You can sign out at any time from the App's settings.
7. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect: precise location data, contacts, health data, or biometric data. Photos you add remain on your device. Note: our third-party advertising partners may access an advertising identifier and related device data to serve ads (see the Advertising section). We do not sell or rent the personal information we hold to third parties.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and our advertising is configured as not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
