This Privacy Policy describes how the PocketAmp application ("App") processes user data. PocketAmp is a port of the classic Winamp 2.x player for Android.

PocketAmp does NOT collect, transmit, or process any personal user data outside of your device.
All data remains exclusively on your device and is never sent to any external servers.
The App stores only the following data locally on your device:
Application configuration settings (user preferences)
Playlists and selected paths to music folders
Visualization and interface preferences
This data is saved locally in device storage and serves solely for the proper functioning of the App. It is not shared with third parties or sent outside your device.
The App requires the following permissions exclusively for its proper functioning:
4.1. Access to Audio Files
Allows playback of music files stored on your device.
4.2. Access to Device Storage
Allows browsing and selecting music folders and creating playlists.
4.3. Access to Microphone
Used exclusively for real-time audio spectrum visualization (Spectrum Visualizer). Audio from the microphone is not recorded or stored.
The App does NOT use:
Analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics)
Advertising systems
User tracking tools
External servers
Cloud services
The App does NOT share any data with third parties because it does not collect any data.
Since all data remains exclusively on your device and is not transmitted over the Internet, data security depends on your device's security measures (password, encryption, etc.).
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have the right to:
Access their data
Delete their data
Data portability
Since the App does not collect or store data outside the user's device, all data can be deleted by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in Android system settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. The App does not knowingly collect any data from children.
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. Users will be notified of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We recommend periodically reviewing this page to stay informed of any changes.
