Pocket Hisab is an accounting, collection and reporting app designed for small businesses, shop owners, home expense tracking and salary management.
This privacy policy explains how Pocket Hisab handles user data.
Pocket Hisab may store the following information entered by the user:
Business/book names
Transaction details such as income, expense, sale, purchase, transfer and payment entries
Party/customer/supplier names and contact details
Ledger, khata and collection details
Bill-wise reminder information
Promise dates and due dates
Report data generated from user entries
Backup and restore files selected by the user
This information is primarily stored locally on the user's device.
Pocket Hisab stores accounting data in a local database on the user's device. The current version does not require a cloud account for normal use.
The user is responsible for keeping their phone and backup files secure.
Pocket Hisab may allow users to:
Create backup files
Restore old backup files
Export reports
Share payment summaries or ledger PDFs
Share collection reminders through other apps
These actions are controlled by the user. When a user shares a PDF, report, message or backup file, that data is handled by the selected sharing app or storage location.
Pocket Hisab may request camera or gallery access if the user chooses to attach or save bill photos.
Camera or photo access is used only for user-selected bill/photo features.
Pocket Hisab may request microphone access for voice-based transaction entry.
This feature is intended to let users speak accounting entries instead of typing them manually. Microphone access is used only when the user starts a voice-entry action.
The current version of Pocket Hisab does not contain third-party ads.
If ads are added in a future version, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated before release.
Pocket Hisab does not sell user data.
Pocket Hisab does not share accounting data with third parties automatically. Data may be shared only when the user chooses to export, backup, send, or share information through another app.
The current version of Pocket Hisab does not require sending user accounting data to developer-owned servers for normal app use.
If cloud sync, online backup, analytics, crash reporting, or AI voice processing is added in a future version, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
Users can manage their data by:
Editing or deleting entries inside the app
Creating backups
Restoring backups
Deleting app data from Android settings
Uninstalling the app
All accounting, party, collection, report and backup data entered in Pocket Hisab belongs to the user.
Pocket Hisab is a local record-keeping tool. The developer does not claim ownership of user-entered data.
In the current version, user data is stored on the user's device. The developer does not access, view, collect or store user accounting data on developer-owned servers for normal app use.
The user is solely responsible for:
The accuracy of entries entered in the app
Keeping their phone, PIN, password or device lock secure
Creating and safely storing backup files
Restoring backups when needed
Choosing when and with whom to share PDFs, reports, messages or backup files
Deleting app data or uninstalling the app when no longer needed
Any loss of data caused by device damage, phone loss, factory reset, app uninstall, failed backup, or sharing data with others
When the user shares data through WhatsApp, email, file storage or any other app, that shared data is handled by the selected service and is the user's responsibility.
Pocket Hisab is provided as a software tool to help users record and manage their own accounting information.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
The developer is not responsible for financial decisions made by the user based on app data
The developer does not guarantee that entries, reports, balances, reminders or calculations will always be accurate, complete or error-free
The developer is not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, theft, accidental deletion, uninstallation, corrupted backup files, or user error
The developer is not responsible for data shared by the user to third parties through export, backup or sharing features
The developer is not responsible for delays, missed collections, payment disputes, or business losses arising from use of the app
The user agrees that they use Pocket Hisab at their own discretion and remain responsible for verifying important financial records before taking business or payment action.
If any feature is added in the future that sends data to online services, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, ads or AI processing, this privacy policy will be updated before that version is released.
Pocket Hisab is not designed specifically for children. It is intended for business and personal finance use.
Pocket Hisab uses local device storage for accounting data. Users should protect their device with a password, PIN, fingerprint, or other security option.
Backup files may contain financial information. Users should store backup files safely and share them only with trusted people.
This privacy policy may be updated when the app changes or when new features are added.
