Each student will be required to keep a notebook or binder for this course; this organization is extremely important for AP exam preparation purposes. All course information forms and documents found on the home page of this website should be located in the front of the notebook. Students should have five different dividers for the remaining materials:
Section 1: Maps (for Maps and Map Quizzes)
Section 2: Lectures (for Handouts and Lecture Notes)
Section 3: Study Packets (Key Terms, Essential Questions, and Essay Outlines)
Section 4: Exam Preparation (for Assignments)
Section 5: Assessments (for Exams and Quizzes)
With the exception of section 5, you will find the documents for each of sections 1 - 4 on the other pages of this website.
Textbook: Kennedy, David M. and Elizabeth Cohen. The American Pageant. 15th AP ed. Stamford: Cengage Learning, 2013. Access Chapters 1 - 3 here.
