MyDiary is a personal work diary application that lets users create, edit, store, and export diary entries on their device.
## Information We Collect
MyDiary does not require account creation and does not operate a remote backend for storing diary content.
The app may access the following device features:
- Microphone: used only when the user chooses voice input to dictate diary content.
- Biometric authentication: used only to unlock the app on the device.
- Local storage: used to save diary entries and generated export files on the device.
## How Information Is Used
Information entered into MyDiary is used only to provide app features such as:
- saving diary entries locally,
- generating summaries and reports inside the app,
- exporting reports to PDF or Excel,
- supporting optional voice-to-text input,
- protecting access with device authentication.
## Data Sharing
MyDiary does not sell user data.
MyDiary does not share diary content with third parties. Data remains on the user's device unless the user explicitly exports or shares files using device features outside the app.
## Data Retention and Deletion
Diary data remains on the device until the user edits or deletes it, or uninstalls the app.
Users can delete entries at any time from within the app.
## Security
MyDiary uses device-level protections and optional biometric authentication to help protect local access to the app. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
## Children's Privacy
MyDiary is not directed to children under 13.
