Statement from the Prime Minister on the Detainment of a Minister

NUMBER 13 - The Prime Minister, Genevieve Cartier, today issued the following statement on the detainment of a government minister.

"I have been informed of the detainment of one of my ministers. I have been in contact with the Home Office, the Department for Justice, and the Attorney General.

"I will address the nation tomorrow to ensure there is transparency during this time.

"I know that the integrity of my government is currently in question, and we intend to be very transparent."
