Meet the Committee

PlyMake & Stitch started with 3 women - Jazz, Ellie and Gemma - who came together through a love of all things crafty. The group has since grown over time with numerous members and new committee members.

Jazz

I'm currently studying Fashion Design at Arts University Plymouth. I have heaps of sewing knowledge so I'm your girl for any fashion design/sewing/pattern cutting needs! I can also crochet and cross-stitch!

Ellie

I have been crocheting for over 8 years and have been branching out into new crafts, including knitting and sewing. I have experience working with exhibitions and I am currently studying towards my degree at Plymouth University.

Gemma

I've been crafting since my mum taught me as a child. I'm happy to help with sewing and sewing machines, sewing patterns, crochet, knitting, diamond art and cross stitch.

Debbie

I am the meeter and greeter for the group. I specialise in knitting, cross stitch and diamond art. I can also crochet and I am currently taking a sewing course in my free time.

Chloe

I bought a Cricut Joy Xtra to start making personalised gifts and cards. Upon joining PlyMake & Stitch I learnt how to crochet and very quickly fell into a world of crafting! I now also have a Cricut Maker 3 and love to explore different crafts.

Milly

I have a wide range of crafting hobbies such as embroidery, crocheting, knitting, drawing and I've just started to learn how to sew. I've been attending PlyMake & Stitch since the start and always make an effort to go on every adventure we have.
