This privacy policy applies to the PlyDekho app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Nitesh Baaghi (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
The time spent on the Application
The operating system you use on your mobile device
Camera, Photos, and File Storage The Application requires access to your device's camera, photo gallery, and file storage to function as an e-commerce platform. This access is used strictly for:
User Profiles: Allowing users to upload profile pictures.
Product Listings: Allowing dealers to upload images of products they wish to sell.
Shop Verification: Allowing dealers to upload necessary documents for shop verification.
Personal Data & Authentication For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider requires you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:
Mobile Number (Used for Login/Authentication via OTP)
Name
Location / Address (For delivery and shop location)
Email Address
The Application uses 2Factor to verify your mobile number via SMS OTP. Your password and sensitive credentials are encrypted, hashed, and managed securely via Supabase.
How Data is Shared Between Users (Marketplace Functionality) PlyDekho operates as a marketplace connecting Users and Dealers. By using this Service, you acknowledge that:
Users: When viewing a shop, Users can see Dealer information including Shop Name, Location, and Contact details.
Dealers: When a User places an order or makes an inquiry, the Dealer will be able to see the User's Name and Mobile Number to fulfill the order or respond to the inquiry.
Payment Information The Application currently operates on a Cash on Delivery (COD) basis. The Application does not collect, store, or process credit card numbers, bank account details, or online payment credentials.
Location Data The Application may collect your device's precise location if you grant the relevant permission. This helps the Service Provider determine your approximate geographical location to show relevant Dealers/Shops nearby and facilitate delivery.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
Data Retention and Account Deletion
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.
Requesting Account/Data Deletion: If you wish to delete your account or have the Service Provider delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at baaghinitesh@gmail.com. The Service Provider will respond and process the deletion request within a reasonable time frame.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (including Row Level Security and encryption) to protect information we process and maintain.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
