Harold before going overseas
From an old Kerr family album...date inscribed next to this photo is 1917
Artifacts – Harold Clifford Kerr's British War Medal (held by D.Kerr) and Victory Medal (held by C.Kerr - the ribbons swapped by our Great Grandmother perhaps); uniform buttons and badges; hat badge. This photo was taken on 8 May 2017. It is the first time in 75yrs at least that the two war medals have been together. ID Plate (dog tag) found in 2007 in France and sent to CKerr in April 2017. The discovery of the ID Plate led to the Australian Broadcast Corporation and the Canadian Broadcast Corporation covering the story. The story led to descendants of the Kerr family 'locating' each other via the internet.
