Frank Pileiro

I am entering my 25th year in education and have always enjoyed being curious and creative. I love collaborating and educating students as well as adults. With the creation of the PLSEA community all of my interests and more will have an opportunity for growth! We have a great group of organizers and top notch attendees and I could not be more excited.

After 15 years in the classroom I am the Supervisor of Technology for the Linwood Public Schools. I am a G Suite for Education Certified Trainer, a member of Google’s G Suite for Education Experts Group, and a Discovery Education Network Star Educator. I have had the good fortune to speak at the local, state, and national levels about educational innovation, instructional technology, creativity and empathy . As an advisor to Tech & Learning and Tech Learning Leader Magazines, I write about educational technology and review new educational technology products.

Glen Stewart

Having been a leader in Educational Technology for more than 20 years, I currently serve as the Supervisor of Technology for Upper Township Schools, which have recently been nationally recognized by the Apple Education Recognition Program as outstanding schools for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence. I was one of the founders of the local television station, UTTV, and previously, I was an on-air announcer for many years at radio stations throughout the region, as well as touring the country performing Shakespeare.

I am pleased to once again join some of the folks who previously brought you Padcamp and Chromecamp as we embark on this new venture, PLSea, and I’m excited for the potential to create an ongoing community of educators dedicated to transforming our classrooms for the better.

I have been lurking around with many of these passionate technology colleagues for the past 20 years in some cases... This event hopefully gets all of us together to go beyond our usual break and fix conversations to let us talk about the more exciting trends and observations we have about relevant topics in our schools that we rarely get to share with some of our old friends and hopefully some new connections.

Previously I worked in higher education in various university multimedia services roles for 13 years in the Philadelphia area prior to coming to K-12 in Egg Harbor Township in 1998.

I humbled to be working with the people you see on this page. Their energy and persistent dedication to educational technology has always been a joy to be a part of and I know the new PLSea event will be a brilliant success. As for me, this is my 20th year in education. Starting out as a high school science teacher I have had a “many hats” type of career that keeps me on my toes! I have worked as a Technology Coordinator, Network Administrator, Supervisor of Instruction, and Grant/Teacher Evaluator). I am currently the District Test Coordinator and Technology Network Data Specialist in the Brigantine School District where I get to interact with and teach students and teachers, which is my favorite thing to do! If you see me at the conference, please say hello.
