Welcome to the Parliamentary Learning & Sharing Series, endorsed by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament and organized by the Centre for Strategy & Parliamentary Studies (CSPS) in collaboration with the Human Resource & Admin Department, the Department of Research, Programmes, and Partnership (DePREP), and the Legislative Services Department. This initiative aims to invigorate and enhance the capacity of MPs and staffers through continuous learning and professional development.
Cultivating a Robust, Continuous Learning and Professional Development Culture to Improve Parliamentary Performance.
The Parliamentary Learning and Sharing Series, or PLS-Series, is crafted to foster a culture of continuous learning within Parliament. It offers a space for participants to gain insights from specialists, share best practices, and explore innovative ideas and concepts.
This initiative is designed to infuse freshness and energy into the capacity building of MPs and staffers. It is a collaborative effort of the Centre for Strategy & Parliamentary Studies (CSPS), the Human Resource & Admin Department, the Department of Research, Programmes and Partnership (DePREP), and the Legislative Services Department.
The PLS-Series is not just a program; it’s a transformative initiative that is driven by the following objectives:
To enhance the knowledge and skills of MPs and parliamentary staffers on critical legislative, administrative, contemporary, and emerging issues.
To facilitate post-study visit learning, ensuring broader benefits from these experiences.
To unlearn outdated habits and attitudes, fostering self-reflection and positive change.
To enhance your facilitation and presentation skills, preparing you to represent Parliament on national and international platforms.
At the PLS-Series, we bring experts and thought leaders to engage, inspire, and challenge your perspectives.
Our sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive, ensuring your active participation and maximum learning. The PLS-Series allows you to learn new things, unlearn what no longer serves you, and expand your professional relationships across departments.
Join us in this journey to boost your skills and competencies and shape your attitudes for better parliamentary performance.
