Overview
Plotline Grove is a personal plant record application. It lets you create plant entries, store photos selected from your device, record watering activity, write notes, view statistics, open this privacy policy in a WebView, and make optional Google Play In-App Purchase contributions.
Information We Collect
The app stores information that you enter or select inside the app, including plant names, planted dates, soil details, light requirements, health ratings, watering intervals, notes, watering logs, journal entries, and local photo file paths. This information is stored locally on your device using Hive.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The app does not include an account system, authentication, analytics SDK, ads SDK, crash reporting SDK, cloud sync, location access, microphone access, contacts access, or camera capture flow in the inspected source code. The app uses image selection for photos and does not intentionally collect unrelated personal information.
How We Use Information
Your locally stored plant information is used to display your plant records, calculate care statistics, show watering history, support editing and deletion, and help you review your personal plant activity.
Data Sharing
The app does not intentionally share your plant records with the developer or a cloud service. Optional purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. The privacy policy page is loaded through a WebView, which requires internet access.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Google Play Billing for optional contribution purchases and WebView technology to load the privacy policy page. These services may process data according to their own terms and privacy practices. The app also uses Flutter plugins for local storage, image selection, path access, and in-app purchases.
Data Storage and Security
Plant records are stored locally on your device. The inspected source code does not implement custom encryption. You are responsible for your device security, backups, and access controls.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your plant records remain on your device until you edit or delete them, use the app's delete-all-data action, or remove the app and its local data according to your device settings. Because there is no account system, there is no remote account deletion process.
Children’s Privacy
Plotline Grove is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has entered information in the app, they can delete the local app data from the device.
User Choices
You can choose what plant information to enter, which photos to select, whether to use optional contribution purchases, and whether to delete individual records or all local records.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when app features, permissions, or third-party services change. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes.
