The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts.
Our enthusiastic student leaders from Year 11 and 12 (IB) offer hour-long sessions focusing on the basics of coding with MakeCode Arcade. The workshop is completely free and targeted at our CKY Year 4 and 5 students from primary. All the materials and recording will be uploaded and shared on this website. We hope to build an enjoyable coding culture in CKY school with the open-source spirit.
