Hi my name is Alex Fleischman

NOTES:

I have had six major spinal surgeries after breaking my back my first spinal surgery was in January of 2017 and my final spinal surgery was in July of 2023. Every surgery requiring months of recovery leaving me unable to work that resulted in me being disabled. The doctors told me I would need years of surgery before I could have the possibility to return to work.

BACKSTORY:

This all started when I broke my back at work. I was disabled in a work related accident in January of 2017. I am formally a commercial truck driver and previously held a class A cdl. I broke my back while on the job fixing a faulty strap/tie down on my truck. I had to give up my cdl due to my spinal injuries and disability.

CURRENT SITUATION:

I am currently on Social security disability after 6 spinal surgeries. I had my first spinal surgery in January of 2017 and my final spinal surgery was in July of 2023. I receive $ 1,104 monthly from social security. I have not been able to get ahead due to multiple surgeries and recovery that has lasted from 2017 to 2023. My credit was also ruined due to a divorce and custody battle that awarded me my 3 year old son full time and primary custody.

LIVING SITUATION:

I am living beneath my means I drive a 22 year old vehicle. I also live with my 76 year old father who is a disabled Vietnam veteran and my 3 year old son full time as mentioned above. I am just a family man seeking help.

HOW DONATIONS WILL BE USED:

The money donated will be used to catch up on medical bills. I will also use the funds received to further my education and child care. This funding will help me towards a stable career and life without struggle for me and my son.

GOALS:

My goal is to give me and my son the best chance at life I can. I unfortunately can no longer do the jobs I was previously qualified for due to my physical disabilities or had experience in.

I want to further my education while I recover from my final spinal surgery I had in July of 2023. That way when the doctor releases me I can get a stable career for my Family.

Education - Finish college

child care - Expenses

credit card debt - For a truck repair and medical that insurance would not cover.

The remaining - will be used for emergency expenses

MY ESTIMATED COSTS:

My estimated costs are $ 20,000 I am not asking for more than I need. My ultimate goal is rebuild my life after a traumatic injury that put a hold on my life physically mentally and emotionally. This life changing event took a massive toll on me and my family.
