BENEFITS OF BIM

A1 Cost benefits analysis

Commission and evaluate a cost - benefit - analysis for the use of BIM. Make a differentiated study for small and bigger projects and for each phase, in order to specify the corresponding benefits of BIM.

A2. Pilot project results

Collect the results of individual case studies and pilot projects from around Europe that demonstrate the benefits of BIM for procurers.

A3. Measurements

Find a viable methodology to periodically measure BIM usage in all European countries. Publishing the results openly will create pressure for change and help to track improvement over time.
