Playerta is an offline music player. Playerta does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The app does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services.
On-Device Data
When you select audio files or folders, Playerta processes the selected files and their metadata, such as track title, artist, album, artwork, duration, BPM, musical key, and comments.
Playlists, file paths, favorites, recently played tracks, cached artwork, and app settings are stored locally on your device. On iOS, selected audio files may be copied into Playerta’s private app storage so they remain available for playback.
This information is not transmitted to us or shared with third parties.
Permissions and File Access
On iOS, access is limited to files and folders that you select using the system document picker. Playerta also uses the Background Audio capability to continue playback when the app is in the background.
On Android, Playerta may request permission to read audio files stored on your device. The app also uses a media playback service so music can continue playing in the background and system playback controls can be displayed.
Playerta does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, motion or fitness data, photo library, or tracking identifier.
Support Communications
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information only to respond to your request. Support correspondence may be processed by our email provider and may be retained as necessary to resolve your request or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
Data Deletion
You can remove playlists and other app-managed data within the app where that option is available. Uninstalling Playerta removes its locally stored data and imported copies from the device. It does not delete your original audio files. Copies contained in device or cloud backups are controlled by your operating system and backup provider.
Children’s Privacy
Playerta does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when Playerta’s features or privacy practices change. The revised policy will be published with an updated effective date.
