Mostly video playback errors arise due to unsupported codec packs or device drivers. Sometimes the video file may also turn corrupt due to abrupt interruption during transfer/download/processing or a virus in the drive.

Most of the video errors are due to the absence of supporting codecs. The solution is to download a codec pack on your System so that you can play any video file type. Some popular codec packs are K-Lite, X-Codec pack, Shark 007 Codec pack, etc. You can download codec packs online by visiting their websites. Read More

When you are unable to watch video content of a website on a computer, it is mostly due to a browser issue. Either piled up cache and cookies, a browser extension, or an outdated browser gives video errors or makes your videos choppy.

Manual methods shared in the post can fix video playback errors and issues related to codec and graphic drivers on your computer. If you face video errors when trying to play online videos on a PC, ensure your browser is updated.

If the domain is listed in your video settings page, but the error is still appearing, the domain specified in your address bar may be different from the domain sent to the Vimeo player. In these cases, a privacy error may appear. Contact a web developer to confirm if there is anything in your site's HTML code that could be blocking the referrer from reaching our player iframe.

Linux users: If you are seeing an unsupported error in the player on Ubuntu (and some other Linux operating systems), try installing these packages: Chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra (for Chromium), or streamer0.10-plugins-good and Streamer0.10-ffmpeg (for Firefox)

If you continue to see the unsupported error in the player on Linux (for every video), please contact your OS community for assistance with installing the necessary packages for h.264/ HTML5 playback.

This error can appear when your browser fails to fetch media for reasons that are usually unknown. Not to worry-- a quick refresh of the player (or web page containing the player) should immediately fix the problem.

We'd like to gather more information about the issue you're running into. What was the error message when attempting to stream the channel? Does this happen on all movies/shows on The Roku Channel or just specific titles? What are you seeing on screen? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue? In addition, can you please specify the exact steps you are taking to reproduce this issue so we can investigate further?

The error message is "Playback Error", se attached photo of the TV screen. I also attach a photo of the previous screen. The error appeared when trying to play this episode of Yukon Men. This happens on most TV shows and movies, but a few will play. They are hard to find, but I found that the TV series "The Rifleman" plays, and so does the movie "Halloween".

This has been going on for weeks now, every time I try to play an episode or a movie in the Roku Channel app on my Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K. Have you tried it yourself on this device? I would be surprised if you can make it work.

Same playback error with firestick 4k purchased in 2021. Roku 1.0.70. Updated, uninstallex, reinstalled with no change. Live television works but all other programming on the app reads playback error. Unfortunately we were unable to play this content. Please try again later.

We did have an issue with playback on select devices/browsers beginning June 4 that we were not aware of until June 24, but we pushed a fix the night of June 25th that should have taken care of the problem. Still, I'm sorry you had this frustrating experience - being a frequent traveler myself, I know it's annoying when the inflight entertainment options aren't available.

I am using a Project sample rate of 384000 (we are looking for bats with calls going upto 145 kHz). This is set within the drop down menu in the bottom left of the display. Playback works fine at this SR on the newer laptop that I originally have been using with Audacity. (This was also upgraded to Windows 10). But if I change the SR rate down to 192000 on the 2 computers I was struggling to get to playback, it works fine. The majority of bat calls we are looking at are under 96kHz. So, by doing this we are able to playback the calls successfully. However, I am a little confused with this and how the SR is running at 192000 as when I playback calls, there are clearly parts of the call that are over 96000 that are being displayed on the spectrogram. My understanding is that the file that is shown, is limited to the SR the software is set at? So and calls over 96000 can not be shown/played back? The SR within the bat detector that we made the recordings with was set at 384000. If you could give me any information on this I would be very grateful.

I tried 1.8-R6 version on both Ubuntu 20.04.1 & ubuntu-18.04.5 different players installed with Snap CMS Version 2.3.8. The Problem i created a layout with one mp4 video when i try to schedule on the Players both Player play the video for about 1 or 2 sec. the the video Freeze and the Players hangs.

Thank you for your message Hani and sorry to hear about your issue. Can you confirm if you are seeing any errors being reported by the player when the video hangs? I also wondered if you can provide an exported copy of the layout in a private message to me? I can then test this on my own player (running on Ubuntu 18.04.5, player version 1.8 R6) and see if the performance is the same.

Thanks for providing a copy of your layout. I have been testing this on my Xibo for Linux 1.8 R6 (code 108) players running on Ubuntu 18.04.5 and 20.04.1. So far the videos are playing without issue. You can see my screenshot is from my ubuntu 20 machine but Ubuntu 18 is performing the same:

Flash is not supported on the Xibo for Linux player, and due to flash now being end of life it is extremely unlikely that support will be added in a later release. If you require swf files to be used in your signage, you will need to use the Windows, webOS or Tizen players.

For me, the error occurs after playing Netflix and/or iTunes content, then attempting to playback files from Infuse. The solution is to reboot the AppleTV, then to immediately launch and use Infuse. Following this, playback of Netflix or iTunes content will work, although this will break Infuse until the system is rebooted.

I've done all the troubleshooting stated on the Sonos website but I'm pretty sure my setup isn't the problem because I use a Radio App and also use YouTube Music via the Sonos app with no playback issues, the error just happens with Apple Music.

For general info- In my case the problem is definitely linked to the files. I get this error message on some of my albums - I will get the message when I try and play the album in my library through the Sonos app, although the same track will play through the Apple Music app via airplay. Also If I search for the song/album in Apple Music via the Sonos app it will play fine, and I can solve the problem by deleting the album from my Library and adding it back in again.

Occasionally, a YouTube video might have ads in the middle of the video, causing the bulb playback to fail. If you own the video, try following these instructions to remove ads from your videos. Otherwise, if possible, try to find a copy of this video without ads, either on YouTube, Vimeo, or another video host.

Certain video hosts will convert caption files to a format known as DFXP, which the PlayPosit player does not currently support. We recommend that if you have access to the caption file, you should convert it to a .vtt or .srt file and upload it in the Designer using these instructions.

Sometimes users on Watch2Gether experience the issue that some or all videos are not playing for them while they are playing fine for other users in the same room. In some cases the player remains black in others an error message can be displayed.

You can try playing it on another device. E.g. you can watch in a browser with , but please note that not all browsers are capable of playing surround sound. You could also try a 3rd party tool to transfer the recording to a computer and use a variety of different players to try to view the recording.

It would be extremely frustrating if you cannot play back the important recorded videos, especially when there are incidents like thefts, burglaries or other crimes. So here we provide every possible solution to help you fix CCTV security camera video playback error, so that you can review the saved footage on all of your devices.

If the CCTV video playback on your mobile phones failed, you can try the below top 4 solutions.

Solution 1. Please check whether your iPhone or Android smartphones are connected to the Internet. If you connect your mobile phones to your home WiFi, make sure that your home router is connected to the network.

Other third-party viewing software may not be completely compatible with your security cameras, which would not enable you to get access to your saved recordings.

Solution 3. Update your security camera app to the latest version to fix the camera footage video playback issue.

Solution 4. Check whether your security camera SD card or DVR/NVR HDD has recorded the footages.

If the SD card cannot be read by your security camera, your CCTV camera cannot record the motion videos when there are motion events. ff782bc1db
