Platte Valley Kin Seekers

The Platte Valley Kin Seekers is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to unite those persons interested in the pursuit and study of genealogy and family history. We hope to increase the interest in genealogical research by means of educational programs, workshops and publications. Our wish is to encourage and instruct members in promoting the collection, preservation and utilization of manuscripts, documents, and materials of genealogical and historical value. Our group is totally funded through donations and funds paid for research completed by members of the group.

Meetings are held in the West building or lower level of the school building of the Platte County Historical Society Museum, located at 2916 16th Streets in Columbus. Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM during the months November through April, and the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM during the months of May through October. Meetings are open to the public. Visitors are always welcome!
