I've been trying to get my shop's plasmacam set back up and everything else works, moves on all axis, does dry runs, and will fire if I pull the trigger manually. However, I'm not trying to hold the torch while in motion. Previously we've had zipties on the trigger and that worked before, but when I try that now I get torch cutting signal not detected. I've looked at all of the cable ends and ports, drained the air compressor a few times, and replaced with new consumables with no luck. The machine is a hypertherm powermax 45 with the plasmacam program and table.

I'm using fusion to model parts to transfer to my go torch plasma CNC which uses design edge software. I use the torch mate post processor to transfer everything to g code, which seems to work a lot better than using .dxf format like the plasmacam instructions say. Everything cuts great except for that I can't figure out how to designate which side of the line to pierce on. It seems to want to lead in from the inside on every cut, and that ruins the outside edge of my parts. I would like to be able to designate the order of the cuts and also where to lead in. Any info would be appreciated
The piece of metal that will be used to cut is 24in x 24in. Therefore i will be making a box 24x24 in the program. I did this just as an easy reference point so i know the design is not bigger than the metal i wish to cut. After the box is drawn you can use the move and scale commands to make the drawing fit.
I have created just a simple box (5"x3-3/8") on autoCAD and need it cut the exact size of that. When I am selecting the box of the cut path it either gives me the inside or outside. When I cut them both out they are under size or oversize. Is there a way in design edge to cut "on" the line?
Having trouble with the design edge software. I'm trying to simply import a google image of the starbuck logo in the software for practice in understanding it better, but I keep running into errors. Such as it being a PNG, which I thought was compatible, as I click "Ok" a tab pops up reading "image cannot recognize newer or incompatable PCM format". When trying to send a converted picture as a bmp it just reads "Unable to read file". Is there something I'm missing or are only certain images able to be imported and why??
