b. Photos for Identification
To enable plant and plant disease identification features, you may upload photos. These photos are securely stored under your anonymous user ID in Firebase. The storage is necessary to process the images using AI.
c. Local Data Storage
Plant care reminders are stored locally on your device. This ensures that your reminder data remains private and accessible only to you.
2. How We Use Your Information
Plant Identification and Disease Analysis: Photos uploaded for identification are used to analyze and identify plants or diseases. These images are sent to AI for processing.
Personalized Features: Anonymous login allows us to save your data under your unique ID to provide a seamless experience when you use the App.
Gardener AI: Conversations with the gardening chatbot are not stored or logged.
Plant Care Reminders: Reminder data is used solely to notify you of your scheduled plant care activities.
3. Data Sharing and Security
Data Sharing:
Photos uploaded for identification are processed by AI.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.
Security:
All data stored in Firebase is secured using industry-standard encryption.
Local storage data is accessible only on your device.
4. Your Choices
Photo Management: You can delete uploaded photos at any time. Deleting a photo will permanently remove it from Firebase.
Reminders: You can manage or delete plant care reminders directly within the App.
Account Management: Since login is anonymous, no personal account details are stored or required.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and provided information, please contact us at the email below so we can promptly delete it.
