By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PlantFit (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
PlantFit helps users:
Identify plants and review baseline care guidance using photos you provide
Review possible health or stress indicators when you run a diagnosis-style scan
Save plants to a personal garden and manage simple care reminders (such as watering)
Chat with “Flora,” an in-app assistant for plant care questions (responses depend on the information you provide and service availability)
View scan history and related in-app features
Outputs are informational and based on limited inputs (for example, a single photo). They are not a substitute for professional plant pathology, agriculture, or on-site inspection.
Features may vary depending on platform, version, network availability, or subscription tier.
To use the App, you must:
Be at least 13 years old
Have permission from a parent or guardian if under 18, where required by law
Have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms
Follow all applicable laws and regulations
Some features may be available without creating an account (depending on the version of the App).
Where sign-in is offered, options may include third-party or platform sign-in methods supported by the App.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the security of your credentials and device
Providing accurate information
Activity associated with your use of the App
Purchases and subscriptions are linked to your Apple ID (where In-App Purchases are used).
PlantFit may offer:
Monthly plan — recurring subscription
Yearly plan — recurring subscription
Lifetime access — one-time purchase (if offered)
Prices may vary by region and may change over time. Applicable taxes may apply.
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
Renewal charges may occur within 24 hours before the current period ends, as described in App Store subscription disclosures.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions via Apple ID settings.
Deleting the App does not cancel subscriptions.
Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple (where applicable).
Refund eligibility depends on Apple’s policies.
PlantFit does not issue refunds directly for App Store purchases.
Canceling a subscription prevents future charges only.
Free access may include selected features only.
Free feature availability, limits, and pricing may change over time.
Changes may occur with notice where required by law or Apple policies.
You retain your rights in content you submit, subject to the license below.
You grant PlantFit a limited license to use, process, host, transmit, and display your content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App and related services (including generating results and messages back to you).
You are responsible for the content you provide and represent you have the rights needed to provide it.
Do not submit content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or harmful.
You agree not to:
Use the App unlawfully or abusively
Violate laws or third-party rights
Infringe intellectual property rights
Reverse engineer or exploit the App unlawfully
Circumvent subscription or usage limits
Interfere with App security or performance
Upload malicious software or scripts
Use automated means in a way that overloads or disrupts the service
The App’s design, features, graphics, text, and functionality are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, lease, or sell any part of the App except where legally permitted.
All trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
No warranties are provided, including:
Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
PlantFit does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Plant identification, diagnosis-style outputs, reminders, and Flora chat are informational only and may be incomplete or incorrect.
The App does not provide professional agricultural, botanical, medical, or veterinary advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
PlantFit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
This includes loss of:
Data
Profits
Business opportunities
Total liability is limited to:
The amount paid in the previous 12 months, or
USD 50 if no purchases were made
Exceptions apply where prohibited by law
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlantFit and its affiliates from claims or losses arising from:
Your use of the App
Violation of these Terms
Violation of third-party rights
PlantFit may suspend or terminate access if you:
Violate these Terms
Engage in fraud or abuse
Attempt to bypass subscription or usage limits
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends as permitted by law.
These Terms may be updated periodically.
Updates become effective once published (and/or as described in-app where required).
Continued use of the App may mean acceptance of revised Terms where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Conflict of law principles do not apply, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.
Unresolved disputes may be subject to courts in India, unless mandatory local consumer protections require a different venue.
Mandatory local consumer protections may still apply.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
These Terms represent the complete agreement regarding use of the App regarding this subject matter, to the extent permitted by law.
They replace all prior agreements on this subject, where permitted.
