Plantkeeper (“the App”) is a personal plant-care and journaling application designed to help users manage their plants, watering schedules, photos, and health logs. We value your privacy and are committed to ensuring that your data remains safe and under your control.

1. Information We Collect

Plantkeeper operates fully offline and does not collect any personal information unless explicitly stated below.

1.1 Local Data Only

All data you create inside the app is stored locally on your device, including:

This information is handled solely by Google Play Billing. Plantkeeper does not access or store any payment details.

2. How We Use Your Data

Because your data stays on your device, Plantkeeper only uses it to:

• Improve your in-app experience
  
  

No information is sold, shared, or transmitted to any third parties.

3. Photos and Media

The app may request access to your photo library only to allow you to:

Photos are stored locally in the app’s database and never uploaded anywhere.

4. Permissions

Plantkeeper may request the following permissions:

• Photos/Storage: To let you select plant images
  
  

• Notifications (optional): To remind you of watering schedules
  
  

All permissions are optional, and the app works without them (except image-related features).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by using:

• Delete Plant
  
  

• Delete Journal Entry
  
  

• Delete All Data (from Settings)
  
  

These actions permanently remove data from your device. The app does not retain backups.

6. Children’s Privacy

Plantkeeper is suitable for general audiences but is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses:

• Google Play Billing for optional donations
  
  

• Google Play Services (if required by your device)
  
  

No other third-party SDKs or analytics tools are used.

8. Changes to This Policy
