NHTStudio ("we", "us", "our") built the Planny app as a daily planner and habit-tracking application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information Planny collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Terms used here have the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions.
Account information. When you sign in with email, Google, or Apple, we collect your email address, display name, and (where available) profile photo. This is used to create your account, authenticate you, and sync your data across your devices.
Content you create. Plans, tasks, events, reminders, wiki/notes, diary entries, and images you add are stored on your device and, when you are signed in, on our servers so they can sync across your devices. Images are stored using Cloudflare R2 (object storage).
Health and fitness data. The app can read your step count from Health Connect and lets you enter physical profile details (height, weight, age range, gender) to power the step-tracking and planning features. See the dedicated Health Connect Data section below.
Subscription information. If you purchase Planny Pro, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive your subscription status (e.g. active/expired) to unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Device and log data. When you use the Service, and especially if an error occurs, we (through third-party tools) collect log data such as your IP address, device name and model, operating system version, app configuration, and the date and time of use.
Analytics. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and Crashlytics to diagnose crashes.
Planny integrates with Android Health Connect to support its step-tracking feature.
Data we access: Steps, read-only. We do not write, modify, or delete any data in Health Connect.
How we use it: We read your daily step total solely to display your progress toward your step goal inside the Step Tracking feature.
Storage: Where you enable cloud sync, your plan progress — which may include step counts — is stored on our servers only to sync your data across your own devices.
Sharing: We never sell or share Health Connect data with any third party, and we never use it for advertising or marketing.
Your control: You can grant or revoke Planny's access to Health Connect at any time in your device's Health Connect settings. Revoking access stops step reading.
Our access to and use of Health Connect data complies with the Health Connect Permissions policy and Google Play's requirements for health data.
Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
Authenticate you and sync your content across devices;
Display your plans, reminders, and step/health progress;
Provide and manage Planny Pro subscriptions;
Diagnose problems and improve stability and performance.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
With service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. hosting, analytics, crash reporting), who are obligated to protect it and use it only for the tasks assigned to them;
When required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
We never share Health Connect data with third parties.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings — tap your profile avatar in the top-right — Delete account), which removes your personal data and synced content from our servers. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email below.
We use commercially acceptable means to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The Service may contain links to other sites that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and advise you to review their privacy policies.
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately once posted on this page. Please review it periodically for any changes.
